Hertz - Boston - Park Plaza Omdömen 

I booked the smallest compact car they had almost 2 months ahead of time - arrived to pick up my car an hour early thinking there would be a long line of Monday morning customers but was happy to find no wait. The manager was very polite and professional and even gave me a free upgrade to a larger hybrid sedan - I was out the door and on my way in my rental in under 20 mins. Returning the car on a Sunday evening meant I had to be back in the structure before 9pm when the gate closes and park on the 4th floor. Key return was a lock box by the elevators which is clearly marked. The whole experience was great - I have no complaints. My rented hybrid Hyundai Elantra gave me almost 60MPG !! Ignore the bad google and yelp reviews - just plan and book ahead and call before you collect to make sure your reservation vehicle is ready for you. Thank you Hertz - I'll be back and use you again. A+ / 5 Stars!

Nice check in experience. There actually was a minor low air pressure issue, which was treated well

The Kia K4 was in good working order and performed well.

The only issue with it was the bad odor from, I suppose the previous renter/user. It reeked of "weed".

Car was ready for pickup as planned and dropping off was seamless What more could you ask for?

When I picked up the car, the agent told me I had signed up for Hertz to re-fill the gas so please return the tank empty. I told her I never sign up for that option and she insisted I did. Which I didn't want. So, I returned the car and sure enough, was charged $133.00 for gas when I saw the receipt. I thought it was a very sneaky upsell which I did not sign up for. I am very disappointed in Hertz for scamming me. Additionally, the plastic piece under the front of the car fell off about 30 minutes into the drive. A man in another car rolled down his window and told us there was a piece "flapping" in front of our car. My husband noticed one end of it was ripped and the screw wasn't holding it so he had to remove it because we couldn't drive it . We left it in the trunk. There was no way to report this at the counter in Westchester. There's also no way to report it on the Hertz website. (at least that I could find). So clearly, nobody inspected the car before we drove it away or they would have noticed the problem.

Efficient pickup and return processes and vehicle was in good working condition and clean.

Our experience started out rocky, but with Asha (not sure how to spell her name) she fixed EVERYTHING. She was kind and thoughtful and made the start of our vacation all just fine. Her boss was also helpful. I appreciate that.

Checked in. Got my keys and receipt and on the road in less than 10 minutes. Staff was very helpful. She recognized me from my last visit.

Reserved ahead and everything was smooth. Two areas of disappointment: 1. The Google Car Play in my KIA didn’t work due to a glitch in choosing the car model. And 2. It’s expensive to add 1 or 2 hours to your reservation beyond “pick up at 11am. Drop off at 11am.”

Professional staff even when busy. This facility is too small for the volume of cars. We arrived Monday 1000 hrs. There were 3 customer service workers at the desk. There was a queue of 5-10 customers waiting. Garage was full of returned cars (facility is inside city not suburbs). There are 2 bays for preparing rental cars. There are many international customers. The staff did a great job. There were 3 keys ready when we were processed, and customer service rep was able to honor our rental agreement with the vehicle we just returned. I prefer this location over the BOS location nearby: even if I had to take 30 min to public transit over. I would like to return.

They do not have enough fleet cars available at this location. The ones that are available are also in the worst condition a car can possibly be. CSRs are absolutely horrible, rude and not accommodative. I've had the worst experience here, ruined my entire trip.

The team working at the counter was lovely, but there was a 1 hour and 30 minute line. My rental was for 11 am. I got my car at 11 50 am and because there were limited cars available, I was offered to wait until my car category was available (mid size suv) or take a compact. I needed to leave, so I took the compact. Again, employees were doing their best, but no compensation was offered, no gesture.

At pickup station hertz representative surprised me with kindness. Same thing on drip off at airport hertz representative was helpful and even offered me ride to terminal . I travel ,rent cars a lot ,this was best experience ever .thank y

The car that was issued to me, a Nissan Sentra, seemed to have some mechanical problem where the car would vibrate and make a load hum when traveling at speeds in excess of 40mph

With the exception of a very long line, it was a great experience with Hertz. The customer service folks were great and the car was exactly what I needed!
