DriveTime Car Sales - San Antonio Omdömen 

I want to start off by saying that I have nothing but good service from the gentlemen working there. Very courteous and professional. The only thing I have an issue with is that my second car in a week has mechanical issues just like the first one I bought last weekend and had to turn it in so I got another one. It too had the check engine light come on and the engine coolant overheating light came on. Im hoping it isn’t anything serious. What are the odds that two cars within a seven day period has the same thing wrong. I’m beginning to lose hope in this process. The problem I see is that dealerships should keep up with issues or recalls from dealerships so that they do not send vehicles out off their lot until they are definitely sure are safe and pass all engine issues. I do not want to have to give this vehicle up so I am gonna pray it wasn’t like the first one I had.

I have purchased many cars in my life but the amazing customer service I received from Alex at Drive Time was impeccable. He helped me understand all my paperwork so I completely knew the contact. This will not be my last purchase and my new found salesperson Alex. These folks know what they’re doing.

Joshua was awesome. The car I was looking for got sold over the weekend. He showed me comparable cars, and I ended up with something I loved even better. He made my buying experience easy and convenient, and was patient while I got insurance quotes. I’m in sales also, so I appreciated how he treated me like a person and not just a paycheck. Will definitely be working with him again in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Very helpful! Not pushy! With challenged credit issues from 2020 I was treated with respect and not judged like a car sales men at a major dealership. Yes the cars are a little more expensive but it's ok. I was treated well!

Took less than 3 hours to be in and out purchasing a new car. We purchased a 2019 Dodge Caravan, it was one of the easiest transactions I've had purchasing a car. Josh was very helpful and did a great job.

I had to take my mom to her sister's funeral out of state. So I had to finally buy a new car because mine would never get there. I got approved online with Drivetime, $399 down payment $489 I might be off 10 or 15 bucks. I called them 3 times asking if it really was the down payment and monthly payment, because I didn't have anymore than that to bring in. I told her my husband just passed away, my car had no ac and it was in the 90s then, it's breaks was just about completely gone, I needed to buy the vehicle that day. She reassured me each time it was all true and I also had a promotional credit for 1200 so I wouldn't even have to pay my 1st payment. When I got there I had to ask for help because everyone ignored the fact I was standing there. I give the salesman all my info.It was taking a long time. I asked if everything was OK. He said absolutely he was just putting everything in the computer. After over a hour he said I'm sorry mary,but the down payment is gonna be a little higher. Now it's 699.00. I asked why and he could never explain. He went to ask a woman if there was anyway they could get it lower but came back and said it was 799 now! I wasn't to cry and scream! He said let me get the keys, I said I don't want to drive it if I can't buy it. He said he would work on getting it down while I was test driving it. When I got back as soon as I stepped out of the suv he said I've got bad news. I said how much now and he said $1800! So I said we'll I guess everything yall said was nothing but lies to get me in here? I told him I called 3 times and asked was the down payment really $399 and was told yes. I was furious! He then said we'll all our suvs have a down payment of $1800 or more! That he could put me in a smaller and cheaper vehicle but my down payment would still be around $1000! This should be against the law! If I could sue them for lieing and waiting 4 hrs of my time I would! Just a few days later I bought a beautiful suv, the same year as theirs. I paid 650 down payment and 425 a month! These people lie to get you in the store and then raise the down payment and monthly payment. Then act like what ever, that that's the way it is pay it or go home! THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW! They have done this to many many customers and they should be made to stop!

Purchased a car 4 days ago and it is broke down already (Electrical problem). Paid the extra for Silver Rock which is difficult to set something up. To o many hoops to jump through. I can't even get a person on the phone. We'll see how this goes but so far, so not good.

Recommending to anyone that I know that needs a car. CJ was helpful and kept me informed the whole time on what was going on. He even stayed past closing to make sure he got me into something that day.

I enjoyed the whole process and liked that I was reassured if I had questions not to hold back. With all the back and forth I was doing on a car to choose Joshua didn't make me feel uncomfortable or as if he was annoyed.

Super easy!!! Hear exactly what I did and didn’t want. Listening to my complaints that day. Nothing towards him. Was frustrated. Totally recommend!!!

I went to drive time cause a friend referred me have not so great credit was determined to buy a better SUV, I really appreciate my Sale person cause he went above and beyond for me to get approved and I would recommend drive time to anyone who is looking for a car

While it did take 3 different appointments before I finally went home with our vehicle, the customer service was ALWAYS the same. Friendly and knowledgeable, never pushy!
