Horrible! Stay away! I would suggest any other booking company. I was given false information when an agent spoke to the development team and also sent me to a supervisor. I had to reach out and have somebody else look into the issue and they did admit that I was given false information. I lost money from my client unfortunately and Vagaro did not compensate me. Also, be very careful because your deposits may be inaccurate. I had an issue again when I looked at my deposits in my bank account and the didn’t match. The agent came back and tried to explain to me, but nothing made sense. Then when I check into my transaction list, deposits, etc. Nothing is organized and labeled. Do not trust this company.
Dysfunctional
I will start off by saying that I have always hated Vagaro. I have had better user experience with Styleseat and even Square's janky online app was easier to use. Unfortunately, I have one service that only uses Vagaro so I had to get back on the app after probably 7 years. I see it is just as bad as it always has been. I bought a package and went to book. After booking I realized that I double booked myself so I went to reschedule. I wanted to remember the package that I had bought as the owner has a million packages and then has memberships so I had opened another tab to refer back to the purchased package section. Well, you can't have two tabs open or the entire site starts to malfunction. It wouldn't let me reschedule. I tried 5x even after closing the other tab and refreshing the page. I also logged out and then logged back in but it would not let me reschedule the appointment. It should not be this hard to reschedule and if I'm not rescheduling from both tabs, there should not be any issue with the site. After 7x of trying to reschedule, inclusive of logging in and out, I just closed out. I'll try another day or call.

I tried to cancel a subscription but they kept charging me. When I went back to cancel again they try to force you to agree to a cancellation policy and won't let me cancel unless I agree. I have written in, communicated through chat, and spoken with a customer representative.
I have the right to cancel a subscription at any point I want and I do not have to sign any cancellation agreement that includes me continuing to pay if I do not want to.

They have both took the time to make sure every detail was exactly as I expected. Would highly recommend

I’ve been using Vagaro for 2 years now
I’ve been using Vagaro for 2 years now, and I can confidently say it’s the worst booking platform I have ever encountered. The only reason I'm still using it is because it happens to be the most popular option in Canada (for now).
Aside from the endless bugs that look like they belong in software from the early 2000s, their recent updates are a complete disaster for business. They recently launched the 'Vera Fill My Book' feature. I read the documentation carefully, and there was absolutely no mention that it would force clients to make a mandatory prepayment just to book. Because of this hidden requirement, I sat for 4 days straight without a single reservation during peak season! Finally, a loyal client messaged me asking 'what is this?' because the system blocked them.
I immediately went in to turn the feature off, and the system redirected me to an activation page. I checked the next day, and to my horror, it was STILL active. Vagaro is complete garbage that creates massive roadblocks and destroys your revenue instead of streamlining operations, which is the entire point of CRM software. Avoid it if you can.
Forced into opening an account so that I can unsubscribe
Out of the blue I received an email from this company saying that as I have used them before they were contacting me with last minute deals.
Well for a start I have never heard of them let alone used them. Then when I try to unsubscribe I can’t without logging into my account which I do not have!!! So no doubt I am stuck with being inundated with their useless emails.
What sort of a company forces people to open an account in this way, not a trustworthy one in my opinion.

Empty promises and tech that doesn't work...
I have been with Vagaro since April 2022 and there have been bumps and bruises along the way that I have been able to work through and overlook. Since Oct 2025 however, there has been a major issue that has been affecting my business that remains unresolved and basically ignored.
I run a dance fitness company that offers 2 classes per week. In October, we saw a sudden drop in registration of our mid week class. It was only after speaking with students and confirming with multiple people on various mobile phones, including those that had never installed it, that the class was not showing up.
Reaching out to support, they insisted they could not duplicate it, and until I had the opportunity to have them see it on my phone in real time, I was not believed. I was also able to duplicate this issue on the website.
According to support leadership, the programmers confirmed that the code was working as intended and that the next class would be suggested to the student. Apparently the programmers are allowed to choose when people want to exercise as this is how students can book.
Thursday to Monday = Only Monday classes
Tuesday & Wednesday = Only Wednesday classes
Despite multiple emails in an open ticket with assurances that my concerns were being forwarded to the programming team and my request to be contacted by someone in the Accounts team, I am once again contacting them for yet another flaw.
On a day someone should be able to book Monday June 29th, the website and app shows the next class as Wed July 8th. Two classes are not accessible for anyone to book.
I pay full price for an app and the website so my students can book classes. I asked for someone to talk to me about the lack of value for what I am paying for in fair compensation.
Now I am here, writing a review on Trustpilot to warn anyone in fitness not to choose this platform. In fact, I encourage everyone to read the 1 star reviews that talk about the issues with the app which is part of the subscription that we pay for.
One last thing. I'm a tech by trade so I did my homework long before I reached out to them. I think they forgot that I was the one that reached out to them a month after I signed up when they were ignoring a sophisticated phishing email campaign trying to gather our login credentials at a newly registered domain. I worked directly with them and 2FA was immediately implemented. Maybe that was a forewarning I should never have overlooked.

Carl has been amazing with helping me set up my online booking system! He has helped me from the first call all the way through. Has never just left me after the first phone call and said get on with it, he’s always been a message away and been happy to answer all my questions. I’m good with tech but not that good! He has shown me everything I’m able to do with my online booking and my marketing. Also helped me with how I can get my Instagram to business to create a book now button! I honestly cannot thank Carl or recommend him enough! Such an asset to the Vagaro team! Thank you so much Carl

My only negative feedback about the move would be I don’t find the system as compatible with mobile phones as Fresha was, it’s also slower and not as smooth to use but we’re getting used to it

Vagaro system loophole and flaw
Vagaro system allowed my hair studio to cancel me the day of my appointment, then they immediately marked me as a no show, then when I tried to write a review it on Vagaro it said I couldn't because I was never their customer because they marked me as a NO SHOW knowing I was going to put my bad review! No wonder they have 5 stars on stupid Vagaro and don't list themselves on google. Vagaro lets them get away with this!!!
