Great PC Servicing Experience

Writting the review a bit late as I wanted to make sure the service I got was genuine and trustworthy. Turns out it was true. So the issue Was my PC was overheating suddenly after I cleaned my pc by my self. When I turned on any game after few miinutes it shows cpu overheating warning and shuts down immidiately. I was bit worried, So unplugged the PC and checked everything, couldnt find any issue by my self so I went to Star Tech's IDB branch as it was closer to my location. and I had to get my PC fixed ASAP, after reaching to the service center I handed the PC over to them. After diagnosing the PC they informed me that it was a simple issue my cpu cooler connector was not plugged in to the PC. they also informed me that the have removed the old thermal paste and added new paste to the cpu which will provide better thermals from now on. So Now I am sharing the reivew after 4 months since my pc havent had any issue since then.

Recently I bought a Neckband

Recently I bought a Neckband, "Oraimo Necklace Neo" from StarTech. The whole buying experience was good. Their good behaviour, easy cancellation of order and fast delivery really amazed me. The product is also doing fine.

Loved there service

Loved there service, I purchased a power supplier from their shop around 6 month ago suddenly i saw my CPU not turning on, i thougth its an issue in powersupply then i go there Pragotisaroni branch then to clam warrenty , they said the problm is in the powerbuttom, i need to repair it and it take around 300tk,
But then they repair it and surprisingly they didnt take any money from me, i was really a great exprience with them.

Product Delivered Without Seal or Sticker Wrapping – Disappointing Experience with Star Tech Bangladesh

I recently ordered a MAONO PD200X USB/XLR Dynamic Microphone from your official website. Today, I contacted the MAONO official support team regarding ordering a microphone table stand. During our conversation, I mentioned that my microphone was delivered without any protective sticker wrapping or seal.

Therefore, my advice to everyone is to never purchase products from the official Star Tech website (startech.com.bd), as I received the product without proper sealing or protective packaging.

My computer's only issue was that there…

My computer's only issue was that there was no display on the monitor. Before taking it to the Star Tech service center, I checked the system several times and was confident that there were no other problems. However, two days after submitting the PC, I was informed that the processor was damaged or broken.

This came as a surprise to me because I had never removed or even touched the processor. If the processor had already been faulty, it raises the question of how the computer had been functioning before

Overcrowded Store & Unwelcoming Service

I visited the store yesterday to buy a mouse. Unfortunately, the shop was extremely crowded, and the salesperson was not very welcoming or attentive. The overall customer service experience could definitely be improved.

Idk much about the but for some reason…

Idk much about the but for some reason reviews needs to be approved by some webmaster. It has been over 2 months or so since I posted 2 negative reviews and none of them has been approved yet. Also, I asked them on e-mail they said some of the worst bullshit.
Asking me if I bought the product or not. Like what kind of question is this? Now, they don't seem to reply back.
Very sketchy. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

🚨 Think Twice Before Ordering Urgently from #Star_tech!

I rarely post things like this, but what happened to me over the last two days has left me genuinely frustrated and I feel people need to know.
On May 1st, I ordered a CMF Watch Pro 2 from #Star_tech with Fast Track delivery because I urgently needed it. I paid extra specifically to get it within 24 hours. Since my address is outside Dhaka metro, standard delivery would take 3 to 5 days. So I tried every option available to get it faster.
First, I agreed to go and collect it myself from the Hazaribagh warehouse on the same day — only to realize after checking that it was too far from my location to be practical. So I called again and asked if there was any other way. I was given another option — if I provide a Dhaka metro address, I could receive it by May 2nd. I found an address in Dhaka metro and gave it, knowing I would have to go there myself to collect it. I was ready to do that.
On May 2nd, I called for an update. They told me it will arrive May 3rd. When I asked why, I was told the order was only billed on May 2nd. Fast Track charge still applies. Refund? Only possible after delivery, if I call back.
Every single time I called, I got a different answer. I adjusted, cooperated, and compromised at every step — and still got nothing delivered as promised.
⚠️ If you are planning to order anything urgently from #Star_tech online, please be very careful. No matter how hard you try or how many alternatives you agree to, there is no guarantee your urgent order will actually be treated as urgent.
I hope Startech takes this seriously.

Bad service, not organized at all.

Bad service, super unorganized. Don't buy something from here unless you want go to thru multiple calls. They sold me a GPU, confirmed the order thru a call and text message only for them to notify me they need 3 business days to bring the GPU from another branch.

Trusted merchant but misleading online store

They are one of the top tier merchants in the country for tech. My issue is their delivery charge is well above the standard rate while claiming to have free shipping all over the country. If you managed to find their promo code, you would get a flat 100 discount even on expensive products. Then after deduction you would get charged more than the standard delivery rate.

To put it simply, compared to the competitors like Ryan's, you would be paying ~DOUBLE fees if you didn't apply their promo code.

However, the silver lining is that they got huge stocks and often they put product discounts when clearing shelves.

Worst warranty experience: Star Tech refuses to resolve my issue

I have been a customer of Star Tech for a while, but my recent experience with their warranty service has completely shattered my trust in their brand.

It has been nearly two months, since February 22, 2026 that I submitted my GPU (Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7600) for a standard warranty claim due to a fan issue. What should have been a straightforward resolution has turned into a nightmare of unprofessionalism. I have followed up repeatedly, only to be met with vague responses, delays, and absolutely zero accountability.

It is incredibly frustrating to see a company of this size treat a customer with such blatant disregard. They are quick to take your money at the point of sale, but once a product has an issue, you are essentially left on your own. Even raising formal complaints has been ineffective. It is clear that "customer satisfaction" is just a slogan here, not an actual practice.

If you are considering purchasing from Star Tech, be warned: IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, DO NOT EXPECT ANY REAL SUPPORT.
