Initial delivery of mattress was delayed, then when it did arrive, it was damaged and wet. Asked for a new mattress, only for that to also be delayed. When it did arrive again, the delivery team refused to take it up the stairs into our room of choice despite us paying extra for it. They claimed it wouldn't fit up the staira even it though clearly could (live in a semi detached house, with mattresses previously being take up the stairs easily), they were just being lazy. They didnt even attempt to take it upstairs. They then said they wouldn't take it upstairs and we should request a refund. When we requested a refund, they wanted to charge us a 50% cancellation fee, which is insane. We asked for the mattress back if they wanted to be silly with the refund, only for them to say that they'd charge us a redelivery fee. Disgusting company, clearly fraudulent people. Avoid at all costs.

Happy with our new sofa. Price was great and quick delivery. The service from Sean in uddingston was great.

We went for a dining table quite late and Tristan@Manchester stayed late to help us. Thank you

DAY 17 since rejecting a faulty and poorly made settee , Still no refund ! , still not inspected the sofa even though both myself and the ‘installer submitted many many photos after both parties agreed on the faults and it being of poor quality and not fit for purpose ! .Yet this still isn’t enough for NCF it seems and are still dragging their heels and providing zero customer service , As said previously think very very carefully before purchasing anything from this company as in my personal experience once they have your money they won’t want to help you in anyway once an inevitable problem occurs, there are many more reputable companies out there who will at least provide a decent level of customer service.oh and DONT bother going back into store, they don’t even have a phone and will just e mail head office and advise you to expect it to be days before you receive a reply , absolutely terrible terrible service

Had a great experience at this store. Wonderful customer service! One of the employees, Saad, was especially helpful and was so accommodating in helping us find the perfect sofa.

Saad is an excellent salesman. He is professional, friendly, and always takes the time to understand customers' needs. His knowledge and helpful attitude make the buying experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend him for his outstanding service.

After an amazing in store experience (see my other review), the same cannot be said for NCF Customer Service.

On 23 July my husband called to ask for an update on our sofa and was told it was being delivered to the courier on 24 July and they would be in touch. No one was in touch.

My husband called on 27 July to ask for an update and was told that our sofa was on the manifest for the lorry that arrived on 24 July, however the sofa was not physically on the lorry and NCF customer service “had no idea” where our sofa was. My husband was told by a girl called Natalie that she would “look into the issue” and get back to him and when he asked how long this was likely to be, her cheeky, rude, disrespectful response was “as long as it takes”.

My husband never did get a call back so I called 28 July asking for an update and the same girl said she spoke with my husband the day before and there was no need for him to have called “so many times”.

I explained that we hadn’t been given an update as promised hence the need to keep calling and her response was “what do you want me to say”. I explained I needed an update and Natalie told me our sofa was getting picked up this morning (from England) and it could take up to 72 hours to be delivered to the warehouse in Scotland. When I asked how long from the sofa arriving in the warehouse to it being delivered to us, Natalie said she didn’t know and made zero effort to find out. I asked her to ask her colleague or manager and she refused and said “another 72 hours”.

When I explained to Natalie how unhelpful she was being and how difficult it was to get any answers all she kept saying was “I don’t know what you want me to say.” I asked to speak to a manager and got told to send an email and I’d get a response in 5 days!

A couple of hours later my husband got an email from the warehouse in Scotland confirming they had the sofa and would deliver this week!

Clearly Natalie could not be bothered looking into our problem or providing an update like she said she would and lied repeatedly instead of doing her job.

This is without doubt the worst customer experience we have ever received and will never buy from NCF again which is such a shame considering they have amazing staff that work in the store who deserve better.

Needless to say we are receiving our sofa outwith the promised delivery time and if we could cancel the order and get our money back we would, especially given we paid everything upfront! Something we will never do again.

This review is for Customer Service and not this specific store however Head Office is in Birmingham with no option to select and the review cannot be left without a location.

Ordered a sofa and a chair from Dean at the stoke store today, service was excellent, they gave me time and space to browse when I entered the store and Dean was friendly and helpful when completing the order. I ordered as part of their home buyers scheme which allows you to order a few months in advance before you have a completion date for your house purchase, very useful!
