Great experience at ncf Preston

Great experience at ncf. Sales was handled by Charles @ Preston. He was very professional and efficient at advising on a double bed. Made a purchase there and then. Very satisfied with the whole experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

DO NOT SHOP HERE

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I don’t usually write negative reviews but I feel absolutely compelled to after the disgraceful experience I had.

I was informed that I was buying a modular sofa after informing the team that this is my first sofa purchase and I live in an old cottage so would need a modular form in order to get the sofa in the house.

When it came to the “restricted access of the building” section of the contract, I was told that this was really only if you live in a block of flats or if the front door is blocked by a wall or something out of the ordinary.

Of course, as you can imagine, delivery day came and the sofa came in two massive sections and didn’t fit through my front door.

The sales representatives should have taken more care in explaining what exactly the restricted access could include and as I had told them about my old house they should have given advice that was suitable for my situation. Had they told me- it’s your responsibility to measure your front door and measure this exact part of the sofa to ensure it will fit, then I would have! I just assumed as they reassured me it would be fine and that the delivery men would know what they were doing- that I was in safe hands. But I certainly was not.

I was totally misinformed about the sofa and about my responsibilities as a buyer. I was mis-sold this sofa in order to make a sale and now I’m loosing hundreds of pounds on a sofa that I’ve had to send back and now I’m without a sofa for another 12 weeks (I bought the second sofa from another brand, of course!)

This company is truly disgraceful and their customer service team has been no help whatsoever. To the point where is absolutely infuriating. You can tell they have no interest in resolving this situation as they want to keep my money and sell this brand new sofa to someone else. No care for me and my situation in the slightest.

Every part of their “service” needs a massive upgrade to be anywhere near in line with industry standards.

A very expensive mistake of mine to trust that the sales representatives were honest and that I could trust their word.

Absolutely terrible experience and extremely stressful.
