We have been very happy with the service. They are easy to work with and receptive to our suggestions. We have them come bi-weekly and that works well for us. We would recommend them to anyone looking for lawn care. Tyce is wonderful to work with.

Mohamed was great. Very easy to change and update schedule when needed and always provided great lawn care.

So far all of my services have been done well and in a timely manner. Definitely recommend the service for the cost.

Kyle and his team did a great job mowing our lawn. They worked efficiently, trimmed around trees and shrubs, and cleaned off the sidewalks. The lawn looks great. On this very hot day, they came, they saw, they cut the lawn.

Honestly, Lawn starter is very inconsistent. Very crappy people come to do the lawn. Some people just take the money and say they came, but they didn’t come total scam.

Constant randos coming to your property. They want to get as many yards mowed in as little time as possible, which is understandable, but this means they stampede through your yard with ZERO care, running over flower beds, leaving trenches and crop circles in your yard. If you don't have any plants that you care for and aren't worried about people with bad attitudes coming on to your property and knowing where you live, go for it. But otherwise, I'd prefer to pay a little more and have a dedicated landscaper. I lost 3 mid size hydrangeas clearly planted in flower beds because they just don't care. When I confronted the landscaper he told me with a bad attitude he was just going to drop my property and left without finishing the job.

Horrible company and business model. They send different contractors to do your lawn every month. They keep a big percentage of the money you pay, so when the workers come to your place they’re already pissed off and complain about how little they’re making, so they don’t want to spend anytime doing the work. Also be aware that anything besides a guy quickly running a mower over your grass costs extra, a lot extra. For example they overcharged me 60 bucks for cutting a small lawn (probably took 10 minutes), but when I called to complain they gave me a new quote for leaf removal for $320.

I have had other experiences with lawn care companies, and most were not very positive, however Lawn Starter is different. We are now at the start of the season when grass is starting to grow, and many may be thinking about getting some assistance. I would recommend Lawn Starter because they appeared to care about customer service. I say that because I’ve been in constant communication with the representative of Lawn Starter, and when we had two days of rain, I was told my lawn service was rescheduled. Some might wonder why my grass was not cut after the rain stopped; it’s because the ground was still saturated. In the past, other companies wouldn’t care. Some will attempt to cut the grass anyway just to get it done regardless of if your lawn suffers damage in the process. And when my grass was eventually cut, although I wasn’t home at the time, my wife let me know that Michael showed up to cut the grass and she saw he did a good job and was impressed that he was done so quickly. We are both happy with the result.

Quick simple great pricing

I was quoted $19 for the first mowing/edging. Later discovered I was billed full price ($60+) plus a $20+ "long grass fee" even though the lawn was not completely mowed or edged. Worse, when you sign up you're on the hook for three mowing and all the random fees and price increases.
