TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I’ve only been with LawnStarter for ONE MONTH, and somehow they managed to completely destroy my lawn. The grass has been badly damaged, they mow it terribly, and they leave the cut grass all over the yard instead of properly cleaning it up.

They’ve sent about three different people to take care of my lawn, and honestly, each one has been worse than the previous one. They clearly don’t know how to properly take care of grass.

And the EXTRA CHARGES are ridiculous. No matter what they tell you when you sign up, they constantly find a reason to charge you more, claiming the grass is “too tall.” I have even been charged twice for services, and I still haven’t received my money back.

Trying to communicate with customer service is an absolute nightmare. It’s extremely difficult to reach anyone, and when you finally do, they don’t actually solve anything. Instead, they keep giving you excuses and making the process unnecessarily difficult.

They are also unreliable and frequently late, and there have been multiple times when they simply didn’t show up at all.

What makes the experience even worse is the way they handle cancellations. Instead of simply respecting your decision to cancel, they try to talk you out of it and make you feel like you’re making the wrong decision, while continuing to charge you.

After only ONE MONTH, my lawn looks worse than it did before I hired them, I’ve been overcharged, I’m still waiting for money to be refunded, and I’ve wasted countless hours trying to get someone to actually help me.

Save yourself the headache and find a local lawn service that actually cares about their work and their customers. I would absolutely NOT recommend LawnStarter.

I had my lawn scheduled to be mown every two weeks while I was away. Instead they let it go unmown for over a month. I was disgusted when I got home to an extremely overgrown yard. Not at all reliable

They were great. It was a team, they were quick and efficient. I especially like them more than other mowers because they trim the grass very low. We had some other mowers that would leave the grass a little high. They came 24 hours after our last mower canceled. Thank you!!

Great experience with LawnStarter. The service was quick and convenient, and the turnaround time was much faster than I expected. Customer service was helpful and responsive, and the pricing was very reasonable compared to other lawn services I looked into. Everything was easy from start to finish. I use the services of Lawn Starter. I am a new customer. I appreciate they hire excellent pros. My husband is not able to do it anymore. And he is fussy about how his yard looks. My pro does a neat job.he does the lawn every 2 weeks and always shows up.

It seems I always have to come out and explain what hasn’t been done .. Nice kid he does what I ask .. but it should be done before I come out

Quick efficient service.

Where do I start? I’ve been a customer for over two years now and it’s been ok. However, lately my service has been subpar to be nice about it. I sent pictures showing feedback of the subpar service and as I’m writing this message I still have not received a response. In addition to the subpar service, the person who was operating the riding mower caused physical damage to my office building for the last to weeks. The first incident consisted of damage to a cement slab on my front porch. The second consisted of the same operator running into my ac unit knocking it off the concrete slab to the point that I had to replace my compressor ($3000). I do have some of this on camera but that was the last straw for me. I no longer want these people anywhere near my property. As much as i hate it, I had to just chalk it up as a loss and do my own lawn going forward. These people are too much of a liability for my business.

They do a great jobs. Pays attention to detail.

Absolute fraud and horrific customer service. Avoid LawnStarter at all costs. My assigned contractor left all the yard waste loose at the curb without bundling or cutting it to code. Because of this, I am now facing a massive code compliance fine from the City of Deltona for unbundled debris. I paid the provider under the false promise that he would return to fix it. Instead, the day before my next service, LawnStarter emailed me claiming the contractor was "no longer available". When I filed a property protection report to get this hazardous mess cleared, customer service claimed the provider was still active and promised he would return that day. Nobody showed up. Four days later, when I followed up, LawnStarter completely CLOSED my case without resolving a single thing. They take your money, leave your property in violation of city ordinances, and then lock you out of support. Absolutely unacceptable. Robinson withEZimprovement
