Can not find fault with the service.
This is my third purchase over the last 9 yrs .
Staff are super

Overall the buying experience was positive, with helpful staff eager to solve any problems. However the car appeared to not have been properly checked over for any damage (which was more than just 'cosmetic'), and no info or advance warning was provided prior to traveling a long way to collect car. However a small refund was made for the split in the rear bumper which helped to soften that unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, all good, and I love the car.

Visited both the Norwich & Ipswich branches in the past 2 days. Test driving one car in Norwich & then a higher spec model in Ipswich, which I ultimately bought. Both Austin in Norwich & Rob in Ipswich were friendly, helpful & patient during my visits. I was not put under any pressure to buy at anytime. During my longer visit at Ipswich, while paperwork was completed, we were regularly asked if we'd like drinks etc. All the admin was completed very smoothly & explained very clearly. Best of all, so far, I love my new car.

The agent, Stan, was great. Experienced, friendly and knowledgable. Gave honest answers to all of my questions and was a massive help in choosing my vehicle. He even made me a coffee whilst we wrapped up the paperwork.

After a nightmare experience with another garage, I sent my new car from Hammond’s for a full inspection after purchase to avoid repeating any potential future problems that I had with the previous dealer. And to put my mind at rest.

I was happy to find that my car was in absolutely great condition. Just as promised. It went some way to restoring my faith in the car industry.

Also, great selection of vehicles.

We recently bought a car from Hammond Cars at Great Yarmouth. We had excellent service throughout.
The car was driven over from their Norwich branch saving us the trip as Great Yarmouth is closer to our home.
The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. All questions answered and we were very confident buying from them. Thanks especially to Holly and Alfie.

This is our 3rd car purchased from Hammond. Always been so relaxed and never pushy. Our 2nd car did have a problem after purchasing but Hammond covered it under the warranty with no issues at all. Even recommend Hammond’s to my colleague who recently purchased a Qashqai and is very happy!
We’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Craig at the Yarmouth and Norwich branch and cannot fault the whole process! Thank you Craig once again!

Me and my partner originally came to Hammond Cars in Great Yarmouth just to have a look at the cars on the forecourt as we were shopping around. We were approached by Jayden who was very friendly and after I mentioned we were interested in an electric Mokka he offered to get the keys for one and pull it out for us so we could have a proper look around and inside. I asked about a test drive and Jayden explained how easy it was to sort out and within 15 minutes we were out test driving what ended up being our new car!

Jayden was very helpful from start to finish and was patient with all of our questions as we were new to electric cars so had a lot to find out. At the end of the whole purchase process which went very smoothly Jayden drove me to a nearby post office so I could sort out the road tax!

We would definitely recommend Hammond Cars in Great Yarmouth to anyone that is in the market.

Ok so where do I start. I looked at a car to buy for my family and wife and we anted to lock in a £100 deposit in which the agent said they will get back to me which they never did. Then I went back in the add and it was gone so I was looking everywhere else for a similar model. Eventually 5 days later it was again on the site so my wife reached out and managed to get in touch so I put down the deposit. I scheduled a visit from london to Ipswich which is a 2 hour drive and more than 100 miles. I rented a car for the day and drove down there with my wife and my 4 month old baby.

Got to the dealership and to be honest I know they were busy but the service was not the most accommodating. However I have them the benefit of the doubt and carried on as I thought I am a genuine buyer and do not want to waste time and money travelling from london.

The sales approach was yep let’s do the deal we can’t negotiate but can take of £100 of the warranty which I have to pay £500 for anyways which was a joke.

The car itself was clean from the inside but not fresh and ready to go from the outside. There was mould or marks of the spray left on the belts which one of the staff said. This car has been stocked up in their facility since the beginning g if the year and when we got through all of the negotiations which they did not drop the price at all I found out that it had not been serviced but recently had a MOT done which had an advisory regarding the brakes which again they said they can not do anything and will give me a discount if I take out the warranty.

Eventually I got past everything and said I will be back in a few days as my wife really like the car and is perfect for a our new and if someone give me a call tomorrow which is today to ensure the car is ready. Guess what no call no email no communication I called them and spoke to someone and they said the person I was dealing with is his day off so surely someone else would have picked this up. They said they call and nothing I tried again and no answer so here we are writing this review as I have a. Paid a £100 deposit with the intention of buying a fully serviced vehicle with no issues b. Not happy that no consideration was taken from me driving from london spending money on a car to rent to get us down there with a 4 month old baby and now no one seems like to take ownership and communicate very poor. Don’t even know if I really want the car now.

Honestly a bit of curtesy and people management go very far and don’t want me up having reviews like this.
