Fusion Academy - Alexandria Omdömen 18

After a difficult year at a previous school, I brought my daughter to Fusion. They made her feel seen and heard. The staff was extremely helpful. Sadly because of the cost, and being outside the window of getting scholarship, I was not able to have her continue. Its been a struggle ever since. Hoping in 2026, a better scholarship will be available for me to bring her back. So wish other programs were available like this one to make her comfortable. Until then, we patiently wait.

Fusion has become our child’s home away from home. Their education has become their first priority. They are having fun and are receiving the support they need to be highly successful in all of their studies. The entire staff of educators come together to support each child individually everyday. Without them feeling coddled, they are taught accountability, punctuality and responsibility. Learning has become fun, again.

This school constantly changes my sons schedule, couldn't teach an AP level class to save their life. My son has to constantly correct his math teacher and fix his mistakes. Every week there is a different problem with the schedule, which makes it impossible to be able to have a consistent life. Awful School, worst mistake of our life was choosing this place

Best way of teaching is honestly speaking not speak the barrier language

My son hates school, but he absolutely loved going to fusion. It made it really special that everybody in the building knew his name. He made so much progress with the one on one environment. I highly recommend fusion if your kid struggles in the traditional school setting.

Hello. I used the tutoring option for 9th grade for Geometry and physics.
I had an excellent tutor and I saw improvement in the progress of my child’s confidence level which was also reflected on her grades.
I would have given it a 5 star but I lost a few classes due to scheduling.I would recommend the school makes an exception in accommodations with tutoring sessions that coincide when school is out on break (outside school).

My son is doing very well at the Fusion Academy. The reports from his teachers are very informative. In this post Covid world the Fusion Academy works out well for him

The administrative staff at Alexandria is very supportive and positive. They have been tremendously patient with helping us understand their program. The teachers are tremendously caring and want to see kids succeed. The flexibility of the program model has been tremendous for us. We feel our daughter will graduate even with her struggles making things difficult.

Was a great experience for my son. Do wish he hadn't had to change his teachers three times.

We came to Fusion in the spring of the school year when we realized the pubic school situation was untenable. Fusion was amazing to work with. They were able to accommodate having our son join Fusion in April. In addition, our son had an amazing experience. The teachers were wonderful and all the staff were a joy to work with.

The one-on-one model is excellent for students whose anxiety in a more rigid educational setting makes them feel like outsiders. The focus on content and mastery rather than tasks is an excellent way to reignite and re-engage students in the learning environment. Their attention to and flexibility with a student’s individual social and emotional needs also makes students feel like part of the community rather than isolating or labeling them.

The staff and teachers brought out our son's strengths and showed him how to use them. They prepared him for college in a way we never could have on our own. Even when classes went virtual, I could overhear excited dialogue and laughter between him and his teachers as if they had never lost a beat.

Was not pleased with art class. My grandson did not learn. He was sent zoom information then the next week it changed. But we were not given the new zoom information.

We really appreciate the many kind and thoughtful instructors my child had at Fusion. They were very friendly and had many good planned activities both before and during Covid.

My only reservations come from an extremely tardy or nonexistent response on a few administrative concerns. There is no way to appeal to a central Fusion office if you have complaints. You’re stuck at the local school.
