Really lovely service by Amat, discount given and she was really lovely with my children.

Mark from Welwyn Garden City branch was fantastic with my toddler. She hadn’t had her feet measured much before and was still tentative. He took his time, helped her feel comfortable whilst explaining everything she needs to me. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience with the lovely Amat at the selly oak brach. She helped so much and gave some great advice. She really took her time and had great patience with me and my little one,(he’s a runner lol) he has autism and finds it very hard to stay still and listen but she made it a fun experience when she interacted with him. It definitely made the experience so much easier. Thanks so much Amat 😊

I went to the Clarks store in Wolverhampton today to buy my son some trainers for school. We went upstairs to the kids’ department, where there were no other customers, but there were at least six members of staff standing around.

I walked in happily and said hello, but unfortunately, nobody greeted us back. They just seemed to look into space. I eventually asked for some help, and a young lady came over. She was actually really helpful, measured my son’s feet and recommended some trainers for him.

Unfortunately, when it came to paying, I couldn’t use my card because it was on my phone and my battery had died. One of the male members of staff kindly offered me his charger, which I really appreciated, but unfortunately it didn’t fit my phone.

I had to leave to go to the bank and withdraw some cash. However, while I was out, I decided to go to Sports Direct instead and ended up buying my son’s trainers from there.

The reason I’m sharing this is because first impressions really do count. If you work in retail or customer service, something as simple as greeting a customer, smiling and showing a little enthusiasm can make such a difference.

I’ve worked in retail myself, so I completely understand that it can be tiring and you’re not always going to feel enthusiastic. But when you’re on the shop floor, you are the face of the company. A simple “hello” or “can I help you?” costs nothing, but it can be the difference between a customer staying and making a purchase or choosing to spend their money elsewhere.

I do want to acknowledge the two members of staff who helped us, as they were kind and helpful. My disappointment was simply with the initial welcome — or lack of one.

Great Customer service!!!..We were served by Lamees at West Brom New Square Clarks.It was great service, she helped a lot and was very polite. She asked lots of questions to help us with finding the right shoes. Thank you, she was a star.

Schuhe wurden trotz sofortigem Hinweis an eine Adresse gesendet, die nicht angegeben wurde und auch kein Wohnort ist. Es existiert auch kein Annahmebeleg, trotzdem behauptet der Kundenservice die Ware wurde geliefert!

Will was excellent, endlessly patient in supporting us with getting our children's school shoes

Used to be able to rely on Clarks' stores for fitting childrens' shoes. Not any more! recently bought shoes and they did not check the width, length or fit.
When complaining to customer service was fobbed off with stupid comment.
Not the service of old but then i suppose what is?

Visited the Birmingham Bullring store and was helped by CHAE - I dreaded going back to this store for my kids school shoes but CHAE has restored my faith in this branch. She was ever so patient and caring, took onboard my concerns. She checked the fit around my kids ankles and how the shoes bent inwards across the foot while walking as well as the depth across the top of the foot and didn’t just offer the basic response - yeh there’s a finger space at the front of the shoe - when you ask the assistant whether they think the shoe fits well.
CHAE didn’t just try and sell us what’s in stock as previous sales assistants have done, she took her time even though the store was busy and found the right shoe for my kid. Fantastic customer service, keep up the great work CHAE and thank you.

Joe was so helpful and extremely patient with my fussy daughter. He executed all options and in the end came out with a pair of shoes. Thanks to Joe and the other 2 staff who helped out.

Very good service thanks to Tasneema and Amat.I recommend coming here for multiple reasons and one is that they are very kind and positive to everyone.I just went and got a bag and shoes for my son and they actually spent their time to help us.They told us the discounts that we didn’t know about and we even started talking about our country.We thought they were Pakistani but they were from Yemen and they thought we were Turkish but we are Iranian.Thank you for all the support.

Brilliant service from Mason in the Brighton branch, who was patience and kindness personified when shoe hunting for my daughter’s awkward feet.

Abi Y in the Reading Clark’s was great. Never reviewed before but felt compelled plus they had the shoes in stock which isn’t always the case for achool shoes at Clark’s!

Eleanor from Clark’s Bullring gave us multiple options, we did not feel rushed and she was very kind. You are lucky to have her on your team. And Clark’s has always been consistent with service and quality anyway

We visited the Grimsby Clarks shoe shop today for my son’s school schools and was served by the lovely Jaya. She was incredible! Such a lovely, kind and professional young lady. She is a credit to your company and deserves recognition. Thank you so much for being so lovely Jaya.

Safa at Middlebroke store was brilliant

Went into the Hereford store and was served by Dee she was very patient with my daughter this was my daughters first time getting her feet measured Dee was very good with her and when my daughter had a melt down because the first pair she didn’t like Dee was brilliant with her calmed her down and let her choose the ones she like and Dee had a lot of knowledge about them and made sure there fitted right so grateful that there are people like Dee still there to help my daughter come away very happy with her shoes.
