Great service today in the Bedford Clarks store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Naya was very kind and helpful, thank you.

I took my daughter to the Bedford store to get her feet measured ready for school shoes. The assistant Jurgita was very helpful, she checked the shoes fitted correctly and advised on care products for the shoes and bought out lots of options for trainers and shoes.

Danish was lovely, very helpful and patient with my 2 kids. He made sure we found everything we needed and provided us with lots of options if our size was unavailable.

Excellent knowledge and service. Impressive. Cheers guys

Lulu was a brilliant shop assistant she was incredibly helpful and patient when helping my children try on thier shoes.

Acknowledged soon as we walked in was very helpful with sizing my child’s shoes and advice on different types for school. Staff was Sophie from West Bromwich.

I would like to share some very positive feedback about my recent experience at the Clarks Stratford Westfield store, particularly regarding a member of staff named Jariya B.

It had been an incredibly difficult and overwhelming day. I had visited several Clarks shoe shops because I was struggling to find the right shoes for my daughter. I had also only just discovered that she had gone up to a size 9, which made finding a suitable and comfortable pair even more challenging.

When I came into the Stratford Westfield store, Jariya was incredibly attentive, helpful and polite. She immediately put me at ease and reassured me that we would hopefully be able to find something suitable. At a point when I was feeling quite flustered and overwhelmed, her kindness and willingness to help genuinely felt like a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks to her patience and assistance, my daughter and I left the store with a pair of shoes that my daughter absolutely loved and, most importantly, fitted her really well.

I just wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you to Jariya. Her customer service, kindness and reassuring manner made such a difference to what had otherwise been a very difficult day. She is a real credit to Clarks, and I hope her efforts are recognised and appreciated.

Thank you again, Jariya, for making a stressful experience so much easier for both me and my daughter.

Gracie, Eliza, Amber, Ikra and Nancy couldn’t have done anymore to help these vulnerable children choose new school shoes. They showed patience and compassion throughout and made each child feel very special. What an amazing team they are. Thank you to each of them.

An absolute breath of fresh air! 10/10 service. 🌟I recently visited the Clarks store in PE19 2AR, and the team completely blew me away. The energy in this store is phenomenal—everyone was smiling, working together seamlessly, and genuinely happy to be there. I knew what I wanted and bought my first pair in-store, then placed a postal order for my second round of retail therapy!A massive shoutout to Val, who looked after me perfectly. Her colleagues were equally wonderful, openly sharing how much they love working there and their true commitment to customers. It is so refreshing to see people just being themselves and enjoying their work in our busy world.

We had a great experience at Clarks in West Bromwich getting shoes fitted for our two children. Dinesh was very friendly and helpful throughout, making the whole process easy and welcoming. Dawn carefully checked the fit of the shoes, gave really helpful advice, and was very knowledgeable. Thank you both for the excellent customer service — we really appreciated your help!

The shop manager Maria at Aurey Quays was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with my 89 year old mother chosing the right slippers for her failing feet . Customer service was outstanding.. and the slippers are very nice quality..

At Fosse Park Leicester, Talisha was very quick to offer her assistance. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - nothing was too much trouble. The service she provided was excellent. Thank you. I found three excellent pairs of shoes.

Nina was absolutely wonderful. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and mature approach to customer service went a long way. It’s wonderful to have such experienced and mature members within the team. Her approach was greatly appreciated.

Sam at Clarks at the middlebrook branch Horwich was very helpful and gave very good customer service when me and my granddaughter visited He measured her feet carefully and we got a wider fitting shoe which was definitely needed Thank you Sam

I recently purchased two pairs of shoes from the Clarks Ashford International Outlet. After changing my mind, I decided to return them and took them with me to the Clarks Bridgend Outlet on Saturday, 8 August, while travelling to Wales for my holiday. I had the original receipt with me.

The gentleman serving me explained that, as more than two weeks had passed, I could not receive a refund, but he offered me two alternatives: an exchange or a gift card for the full amount I had paid. He then went to check with the manager, presumably to confirm the policy.

Unfortunately, this is where the experience became extremely disappointing.

The manager apparently told the staff member that the store “couldn’t do anything” for me. What I found particularly unprofessional was that the manager did not come over to speak to me, explain the situation, or offer any clarification whatsoever. He simply said “No” through his staff member.

For me, this is not how a professional manager should deal with a customer. Even if the store’s policy meant that a refund was not possible, I would have expected the manager to have the courtesy and professionalism to speak to me directly and explain the reason clearly and respectfully.

As a result, I had no choice but to leave the Bridgend store and drive all the way back to the Ashford Outlet the following day, Sunday 9 August — around an hour’s drive from my home. When I arrived at Ashford, the staff confirmed that I could exchange the shoes or receive a gift card, which I accepted.

I want to make it very clear that the Ashford Outlet staff deserve full marks. They were helpful, professional and dealt with the situation properly.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the management at the Bridgend Outlet. In my opinion, the manager seriously needs training in customer service, communication and professional management. A manager should be able to speak to a customer directly, explain a decision and handle a situation respectfully — even when the answer is not what the customer wants to hear.

Ashford Outlet: 5/5 for professionalism and customer service.
Bridgend Outlet: extremely disappointing experience.

I hope Clarks takes this feedback seriously and provides the Bridgend management team with appropriate customer-service training.
