⭐ Extremely disappointing experience – poor after-sales service
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from Car Planet Watford to think carefully about the after-sales service.
The day after purchasing my car, I noticed problems with the brakes and informed them straight away. Despite raising the issue immediately, I didn’t receive a response until I chased them. When they eventually replied, I was told I could obtain a quote for the repairs and they would look at refunding me for the cost.
The garage I took the car to advised that there were issues with nearly all of the brake pads and discs, which was extremely concerning considering I had only just purchased the vehicle. Car Planet were then reluctant to cover the cost of the repairs and instead offered for the work to be carried out at their garage in Enfield.
It then took a month of constantly chasing them just to get the repairs booked in. I have since continued to experience the same issues, which leaves me seriously questioning whether the work was carried out properly in the first place.
I have contacted them again to explain that I am still experiencing problems, but once again, I am being ignored and struggling to get a response.
The entire experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. They seem more than happy to help when you are buying a car and handing over your money, but when something goes wrong afterwards, the level of customer service is completely different.
I feel I have been sold a car with faults, and the lack of communication, delays and ongoing unresolved brake issues have made the experience even worse. Buying a car is a significant financial commitment, and customers should not have to spend weeks chasing a dealership to resolve problems that were reported the very next day.
I would not recommend Car Planet based on my experience. The after-sales service has been appalling, and I am still left with unresolved issues despite giving them plenty of opportunities to put things right.

Unfortunately, I had several issues with the car I purchased, which was a stressful experience. However, Mashrur was understanding from the moment he got involved and worked hard to get things sorted for me. He kept me informed, gave me clear timescales and, importantly, managed to move things forward even faster than expected. I really appreciated this, especially as I needed to arrange another car for work.
Despite the problems I had with the car, Mashrur made a difficult situation much easier to deal with. He was professional, approachable and genuinely helpful throughout, and it is clear that he cares about providing good customer service.

The finance team were all well but slow to process and made too many errors. Arrived at 10am and left 17:00hrs.
They must make sure their team is all up to speed in terms of dealing with companies buying from them.
