Posting this review late because of safety concerns.

After complaining and leaving reviews, the phone call I received instead of an apology started with "I know who you are, I know where you studied, I know what you do" and was then threatened with a defamation lawsuit for a negative review.

The movers scratched walls and floorboards and a bubble-wrapped mirror frame. When installing a dryer, they tried to bang and smash it into place instead of lifting it as instructed, which bent one of the dryer's legs.
When we let the company know of the damage, the removalists threatened to leave with our belongings in the truck and handed us the phone to lie to their supervisor that there was no damage.

After they left we complained once again, but never heard back. I only heard back once I left multiple reviews, which ended with the phone call mentioned above as well as a discussion involving threats of legal action and telling me they had researched me personally. When that didn't work, offered to have a talk with the removalists on the condition that the reviews are removed. In their last communication to me, they offered us $250 on the condition that they don't admit any fault and we can't share our experience and leave any reviews.

It feels like intimidation and bribery is their way to skew online reviews as some reviews mentioned similar thing happened to them.

A 2-bed (no sofa or dining furniture) move 6mins away took them 9 hours (paid $1568). We moved many times across Sydney and this is by far the longest move we had. We recently moved with more furniture and an hour away with the move taking under 6. They didn't connect appliances or assembled furniture and we had the dining set and sofa delivered to new address, so it was very light for 2-bed apartment. Our original quote was $588.

The bubble wrap insurance was voided because the removalists had left without unwrapping and checking the wrapped furniture. Very incompetent.

Please read the reviews carefully before you book, be cautious, get a support person who can help you if things go south and carefully record everything because you might need it. Also, don't forget to read your contract and be aware of the extra fees.

Very pleased with the service and experience I received with AAA. On the day Rond and his team were punctual, and worked efficiently to move the contents (approx 120 boxes) from a storage unit to a shipping container. It was a big job, they came with the right tools to do the job, they were friendly and efficient. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a reliable company to move your personal items with care. Only constructive feedback is the size of the truck should be provided to determine if any difficulties with loading and unloading or in transit. We ran into difficulty where the truck was too large to get into the storage unit complex so this caused an unnecessary delay, and en route the truck needed an alternative route to get to the delivery address as there was a bridge the truck couldn’t fit under. The company should investigate these things for every booking.

The two AAA City Removalist guys are very professional and efficient in wrapping our furnitures well and move out our furnitures. I picked this removalist because there was lots of great reviews. Although I did see a few reviews regarding additional costs and was worried about it, the team was very transparent about all costs and there was no issues at the end. They really delivered a great service, we went from a ground level apartment for 2 people to a house (1 to 1.5hr travel time in between), they completed in 4 hours $840. For us they charged an hourly rate, fuel levy and additional hour (travel back fee). they were very detailed and careful with our items. They asked us to do a review at the end and was so happy to do so. We worked with truck #1 with Nabil and France who were very friendly, quick and professional. They also have a great call service team who check in on you the day before and deal with any issues you have beforehand. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

AAA organisation through Mini and Junior came together very effectively in the short period of time available, with Truck 71, (Neil, Gavin and Joe?) doing a smooth, careful collection and delivery to storage. We very much appreciated the care they took protecting carpets from traffic and also furniture handling, transport and delivery into storage. Previous removals have not gone as well, and we'll be back to them for our relocation shortly

Both guys were friendly, consultative and considerate....John also connected the washing machine. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys and I really appreciate the service they provided. Neil and Gaby arrived on time. They're very thoughtful and thorough with their handling furniture and methodically moved my contents in and out of truck. They've worked hard.

We have Truck 55 Rawad and Mudar they are on time and very quick and professional. Nothing has broken and friendly team. Everything being wrapped to ensure nothing been damaged and smooth loading and unloading.

Andrew and James were great and notified me 10mins before arriving to my place. All my furniture was dismantled (where appropriate) and wrapped before being loaded in the truck. They removed and reassembled the furniture in the new place as well.
They made my move stress free and easy!

On the recommendation of a trusted friend, we decided to contact AAA Removalists to help us move. We had moved many times over the past 20 years and usually organised it ourselves with friends and family to help, but as the years have passed, that is no longer practical.

We hired 2 large trucks and 4 men to load and unload our belongings. From the very first contact on the phone with Miz we felt confident and reassured that AAA would be able to manage everything. Communication was great and on the day, the boys arrived on time and were ready to load up after surveying the content. They were very polite and respectful, and after an enormous day of non stop work, we were finally in our new home with everything in tact and undamaged.
We used their boxes, which are very sturdy. We were so very impressed with Matthew and his team (trucks 4 and 5) who, after a total of over 11 hours and no doubt very eager to call it a day, were still smiling and courteous... no request was too small or too large. AAA are top shelf removalists and we would definitely call on them again when we decide to relocate!
