Thanks to Anthony Ward Thomas team our move was perfectly organized. a day dedicated to packing and the next day to the move of all our things. I was really happy with their service. I really recommend it!

AWT did above and beyond packing up my house in London during lockdown. I could not get there and how they dealt with my attic was something. They stored my worldly goods and later delivered them to me in Devon. What was potentially a nightmare was solved by them and am eternally grateful. Boxes needing to be marked up differently were so marked and easy to find.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This really helped the process and put us at ease. They were very cooperative and listened to our needs. They are Super fast at packing and moving. I did wish that they weren’t so rushed on moving day as it felt like a whirlwind but I understand they have a lot to accomplish in such a short period of time especially when moving a three bedroom home. However, saying that I was really impressed by them and how little time it took them to pack, load and unload. I chose this company as they gave one of the best quotes and everything (apart from paying for a packer) was included in their package, no hourly rates or additional costs for materials. Overall very happy with the service they provided and would use them again if needed.

We planned a complicated move as soon as lockdown restrictions allowed a house move to take place. Despite the difficult circumstances Anthony Ward Thomas’ staff were professional and hardworking for 2 long days - and remained cheerful and helpful throughout.

We moved our family of 5 a few weeks ago, from a house we lived in for 7 years: the team was punctual, professional and all members were very respectfull and polite. They followed our instructions and worked hard. We had a very smooth house move. They also had a very competitive price.

We moved during the early days of lockdown which created added stress to an already stressful event. All the staff we dealt with at Anthony Ward Thomas were friendly and professional and got the move done. We can’t thank them enough.

Have used AWT three times now (once for an overseas move and twice within London) and each time have been nothing but happy with the experience.
The latest move was done in April when most moving companies were not in operation due to the lockdown. We were initially assigned another moving company to complete our move from overseas but they proved utterly useless letting our container sit in their warehouse for 2 months refusing to deliver it to us while we lived out of a suitcase for 4 months! We were so relieved to find that AWT was still in business so we decided to switch moving companies at the last minute.
The crew was extremely organized, collected our shipment from the warehouse, and their 4 man team unloaded 160 boxes worth of our belongings into our flat in what seemed like no time at all. They carried everything up 2 flights of stairs and unpacked and assembled larger items of furniture. They were all cheerful and worked at a good speed, not lazy or wasting time chatting or taking multiple smoke breaks. Nothing was damaged or ruined during the move. Another good experience over all.
I would only choose AWT in the future as I have had bad experiences with other moving companies and will not take the risk of repeating those experiences.
Moving is stressful enough but the right moving company can make all the difference!
