Out of Touch

I’ve just received a 15ml tube of Glass Primer in a Glossy Box and the product itself looks great. But honestly, the packaging feels incredibly wasteful. The tube is mostly empty and could probably hold 50ml with ease, meaning a huge amount of unnecessary plastic and packaging for a very small amount of product. At a time when brands are talking more about sustainability and reducing waste, this kind of oversized packaging feels really disappointing and out of touch.

The actual Product itself though is very disappointing so I am so very glad that I only ordered the 'Sample' Size.

Buyer Beware

This was my first order at rodial and my absolute last. I ordered the Easter mystery box and the vit c pads came with the lid off and dry. They asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement. Who knew I should have chosen the replacement, they gave me $11.90. That’s what they valued the product at. I paid $73 for the box and it contained only five products, and that is the refund they offered. On top of I bought a Christmas edit which logic would tell me it was from this past Christmas. Nope, the products were from 2023!! When I complained about that their AI bot said the products were good for 30 months. Well last I checked Christmas of 2023 is almost there. Will never purchase EVER again.

We did respond to your concerns directly via email regarding both the Vit C pads and the Christmas Edit. To clarify, the “2023” reference related to when the edit originally launched, not the manufacturing date of the products included. All products supplied by Rodial are within their approved shelf life and quality checked before dispatch.

We also explained that, as the Vit C pads were purchased as part of a discounted promotional set, the refund issued reflected the proportional price paid for that item within the bundle.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry the experience did not meet expectations.

Bought a gift box on the airplane with…

Bought a gift box on the airplane with Rodial highlighter included. Highlighter applicator was broken. I contacted customer services and provided all details of the purchase and their product. I was told by the system that they are not going to send it, but after a few days I received a confirmation that they will send it to me and in 2 days I recieved a replacement. At this stage I can tell that customer services are looking after their customers.

If I could rate a ZERO I would
Shame as I love the products
Have been a customer since lockdown and am a continuous user of my products

In my recent order I purchased the bee venom kit as it makes it more affordable
The serum never arrived with kit
I had to provide evidence I didn’t have it which is very hard
I waited a week to be offered a replacement - happy days! no….
Then I was told I couldn’t have a replacement as it was sold out even though it’s available to order in the kit still and still is!
The kit is not in a box so makes zero sense
I was then given £17.50 refund, which is not going to give me enough to reorder

Not helpful

I asked to speak to a human of which no one replied
I am so unhappy with my
treatment as a long standing customer whom has spent thousands over the years !
I even messaged on LI and was ignored
Clearly people don’t matter just the cash

For clarity, our kits are offered at a significantly reduced price compared to purchasing each item individually. Because of this, any refunds issued for individual items within a kit are calculated based on the proportion of the price paid for the set, rather than the full standalone retail value of that product.

We do require confirmation when an item is reported missing so we can investigate with our warehouse, and where a replacement is unavailable, a proportional refund is provided.

That said, we understand your frustration regarding availability and how this was handled, and we’re sorry this has left you feeling disappointed.

Scam you with their 'welcome discount code' that doesn't work!

Created an account on the Rodial website to order some products and did receive a 'welcome 15% discount code'.
I tried to apply it to my shopping cart but of course it didn't work.
Had to waste time reaching out to their customer service who responded by treating me like some kind of idiot, stating that the discount didn't apply to items on sale and required a minimum spend of £50.
Note to Rodial customer service: do NOT treat your potential clients like brain dead newts who cannot read, ok? This kind of patronizing tone is unacceptable!
Not only can I read the small print on a website but I can spot somebody trying to scam me with discount codes that don't work!!!
This brand is to avoid at all cost! The contempt they show for their potential clients is shocking!

The response given by Rodial shows they really treat their customers like retarded idiots who can't read. I specificaly wrote that I can read the small prints and do NOT appreciate their patronizing tone. And what response do I get?!? 'Our welcome discount is valid on full-priced items as outlined in the terms provided with the code. It won’t apply where those conditions aren’t met.' Are you f.... kidding me?!? I know that and that's why I'm so p.... !! Because what I was trying to buy was NOT discounted and WAS over £50!!!! And yet their code didn't work!!!
I rest my case!
Avoid at all cost! They rip you off and add insult to injury in their 'response'!

No refund on return - product is an allergin

Bee Venom is an allergin, so dont use if you have sensitive skin. I broke out in hives that took weeks to go away.
They wouldnt accept returns of my unopened product.

I purchased a small kit onsale for…

I purchased a small kit onsale for $35.00. Everything was in the kit but the Dragon's Blood moisturizer didnt pump up. Because it was moisturizer, I just opened the top, but there was hardly any product in the jar. At the very least it should have been more than a sample. It was not advertised that way and it was not a deluxe sample. I don't know if I would purchase again, as the products are expensive and to not have the amount that should be in a container, is upsetting when you're spending money. The product feels very good, and the banana lowlighter also has a very nice feel. I also bought a lip liner. That was very creamy but not the color that appeared on the site. I'll still use it but not the best first time purchase experience, especially since it has great reviews

Customer care not very caring!

I had been given the Bee Venom as a gift and I wrote to them to check the batch number (which they did). I was concerned as the product smelt a little funky, I asked if I could return a little of it for them to test it and they did not want to know... As it wasn't bought directly from them they could/would not help! When I asked Alex for her title and who the Senior Manager was she has not answered my emails! A reminder was ignored as well! NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL RODIAL! When I had a similar problem with Augustinus Bader last year they were only too glad to assist! NO customer care her at Rodial I'm afraid!

Love the products and customer support

Love the products. Oxygenating mask is so good.
Customer support is fantastic. Had to contact them twice (nothing to do with the products or company itself) and the response and help was instant. Highly recommend

i love rodial

well as much as i love this product i am disappointed at all the trial sizes i spend 80 bucks on. i love how they feel, smell, and work don't get me wrong but I'm sad at the sizes of the few travel sizes that was in it. they all work very good and i love them though. the lip oil is wonderful and so is the cleansing water. i use one serum at night and one in the day and i can already see a difference and its only been a couple days and i know im going to love the bubble mask and they eye patches but thats for the weekend me time lol

Ordered the Dragons Blood mask 50ml on offer @£32. They sent the travel sized one 19ml @£15. All day I have been on WhatsApp while they endlessly refused to admit any wrong or apologise. The worst Customer Service. Just send the correct 50ml product ordered and a pre paid postage label so the wrongly sent 19ml travel sized one can be returned. Being defensive and not admitting fault is not a good quality in customer service. Will never buy Rodial again. Have used Rodial exclusively for over 15 years. No more.
