Life Connect has been a life line, prompt in connecting and handling calls and keeping matters up to date.
Knowing that there is someone to deal with an emergency at all times.
Avoid if you are looking for peace of mind!
We purchased a fall detector from Lifeconnect24 to give our family peace of mind for our Dad who is becoming less sure footed. The first machine arrived and did not work as it was not suitable for the digital switch over this was not mentioned at the point of sale and they expected us to pay an admin fee of £30 or £40 which we refused and the charge was later waived. The second machine stopped working after a week or so. The third machine arrived and once again we had to wait 30 minutes or so to be connected to their technical department as the machine had not been paired with my Dad's bracelet. During the next 11 months we had to contact them multiple times because we found when testing the device it was not connecting and each time this happened meant another 30 minute wait for someone to answer the phone in the call centre. The final straw came when we were sent the renewal subscription which had nearly doubled to £399.00 so we cancelled the subscription. As per the title if you are looking for peace of mind for a loved one, avoid this company at all costs!

I put everything in writing via email. I responded to your questions in writing via email. I was clear I did not wish to keep the pendant, it needed to be returned. Very clear. Gave contact details and address. Your response, you need to phone this number. I had to press repeat and now you’re asking me what went wrong!

From initial call in Nov 2024 to set up no issues at all response to alarm activation and testing the same. However, a year into the service the yearly cost rose by £94 and there was no communication whatsoever from the company to inform me of this they just took the money out of my bank.
Jan 26 the neck pendant stopped working, contact was made and was informed a new pendant would be posted, a week later no pendant arrived so a further call was made only to find out that a new pendant hadn’t even been sent out. Unfortunately this has left my elderly mum anxious about getting around the house as she has been over a week without a working pendant.

Price tripled.
Been with this company for 3 years. They sent a email for renewal 5 days before they were going to take the money instead of the 28 day's they are supposed to. The price was triple what I had paid previous. Apparently they increased their prices mid December which they didn't tell me because if they had it would have been before the 28 day's that they should have sent renewal price. So I have cancelled with them. To go through to cancellation it was a 30 minute wait ( I wonder why) so I got a call back.

Please do not use this company we thought we would use for my grandad for piece of mind.......how wrong were we.......he had a fall alarm didn't go off!!luckily we went round the house and found him......if we hadn't of it would b a different story I contacted life Connect who said tech team would call within 48 hours this was on 2nd of January and we are STILL waiting have called customer services NUMEROUS times for a follow up explaining just how unwell my grandad is and they send him ANOTHER watch when we paid for a smart watch that was uless!! Refuse to give CEO details say that customer services will call you and they never do......awful awful service we are now 11 DAYS into a complaint and we're promised the call back no later then 4th JAN!!! please please find another company and do not use this one to keep relatives safe

Appalling Service.....2nd review
I wrote a review on Saturday 10th January. Asked that the review be considered as a complaint.
Have received a response from Customer Services
saying that someone will contact me within 28 days!
Despite contacting the Company throughout Sunday and following all instructions the problem continued. It has continued today until I finally spoke with Technical Services who have sorted the problem BUT DO YOU CONSIDER ONE HOUR , FIFTY FIVE MINUTES HANGING ON THE TELEPHONE A DECENTVSERVICE ?I DON'T ?......appalling service.
I have spent nearly 5 hours since the problem started on Friday the 9th January trying to get the problem solved

Quite difficult to complete the form especially the address part, no confirmation of costs , the direct debit was confusing we couldn't get the device working on the alarm. 2 help numbers are not available at the weekend and Emergency Line was too busy to get through for help, not a good start

If I knew now when ordering a lifeline connect is not to pay up front, pay monthly, we paid full amount and within 2-3 months my mother in law went into a home, needless to say we did not use the lifeline after that, she never really used it when she had it,we asked for bit of money back but no, it’s our loss basically, disgusting 🤬
