Expensive Poor Service
My 92 y.o. father has had this service over seven years with cost gradually increasing but at very short notice he was advised the next quarter payment will increase by more than 30% to over £90. Customer Service phonelines always have wait times over 45 minutes, unacceptable. Formal complaint by email not responded to, unacceptable. Continually being pestered for 'upgrades' though !

Very disappointing recently as the quarterly price charged and increased from £62.54 to £99.97 without any notification until I received an email informing me of the latest direct debit amount.

Today 24/1/2026 I received a letter…
Today 24/1/2026 I received a letter from lifeconnect24 asking me for payment. The letter was dated 16/12/2025. It did not look like a letter lost by the post office, was clean, fresh and new looking. However I had already paid before the letter was sent. I have absolutely no faith in the admin department of this company, so would advise nobody to pay by direct debit or you will not get your money back. I most certainly will not be using this company next renewal. I gave one star because the people on the telephone have all been extremely efficient and polite when I have pressed the pendent. This is except for one useless male who told me I could change the failing batteries myself though he didn’t know what sort of battery was needed or the fact that they are not removable or renewable!

Was connect my mother’s replacement fall alarm. Alarm started going off at a thousand decibels and wouldn’t turn off. Took 3 calls and 15 minutes to get though to support and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced . Would not recommend this sham of a company to anyonr
Wrist alarm failed and it took a lot of effort to get a replacement
Wrist alarm failed. Took several days to notice then reported it using the base unit. Operator said a new one would be sent. Checked next day and operator said no mention of the problem and she would get it sorted. This was repeated the next day so I decided to call the number on the base unit the following day. After a 20 min delay I got through and again was told no sign of the problem being reported. Promised to get a new device sent that day. This time it did happen. But obviously very poor service and the processes need investigating.

So far so good. This new alarm was easier to set up than the previous analogue alarm.
Problems with neck pendant.
I spoke to Nadine, a lovely lady who listened to my problem and it was dealt with efficiently. I received my new pendant as promised today. Nadine was very helpful

Bill went from £215 to £395 in one year, when I called no real reason to why just on about better service. Dont know how the can justify an 82% increase in one year

My mother uses Lifelineconnect24 to provide a fall & emergency alert service. We have found the service has worked well on the few occasions it has been activated. The staff are always very responsive & helpful & I should like to make particular mention of Lottie who gave us first class assistance when we were renewing the annual subscription. We have no hesitation in recommending this service. Many thanks
