Product didn't match what we saw in store. The 2 month lead time turned into 5.5 months. The delivery process was an absolute shambles. We won't shop there again.
We're really happy with the Riley Muse Flax Bed Frame. It gives our bedroom a soft, luxurious hotel-style feel and looks even better in person. The upholstered design is beautiful, the headboard is super comfortable & love that the slipcovers are removable for easy cleaning.
The delivery and installation process was also fantastic! The team set everything up quickly and removed all the boxes and packaging afterwards, so there was no mess left behind. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth it. 💕

Today had great experience with James lane’s very efficient and polite delivery team. When they have arrived , there wasn’t any parking spot available, they did manage to park somewhere far and challenged by our front door later..

We were lucky enough to purchase a bed on sale (50% off) which is high quality and looks amazing! The entire process from ordering to delivery was seamless. Everyone we dealt with was professional & helpful and we were impressed by the notifications received relating to delivery. Added bonus, the bed was set up and all packaging was removed so all we had to worry about was making the bed! Would def recommend and purchase from James Lane again.

Shocking, whilst it turned up on time it's absolutely trashed. Black marks all down the arms and sides. Will be asking for a replacement.

Terrible customer service- would never buy from James Lane.
Firstly I stayed at home from work to accept delivery of a bed (which I expected to do) and be home for the assembly which I paid an additional fee for.
The delivery driver arrived with just a mattress (no bed). I called customer service who said that I would need to pay an additional delivery fee for the delivery of the bed. After complaining, they agreed to deliver the bed the following week with no fee. I took another day off work (which I shouldn’t have had to do) only to have the delivery guys run away when I said that I paid for assembly. I called customer service who said they’d organise for the delivery guys to come back. After another 3 calls to customer service, I received an email saying that they’d come and assemble the bed in 3 days time. So I need to take a 3rd day off work. 🤬
When I escalated the call to speak with a manager she suggested that we do the assembly ourselves. I explained that I’m a widowed mum without support, she told me that she wasn’t to know my situation.
Their lack of organisation, empathy and professionalism is why I’d never go back and highly recommend others into take their business elsewhere.

Ordered several items from the store online, everything said it was in stock. Then received an email saying nothing is instock and it will arrive in June. I replied to the email but no response. Called the customer service team and some of the items could be delivered. The items showed up a few days later but with missing parts, called customer service again and they wanted me to complete a warranty firm which would take weeks. Great products terrible customer service.
The delivery and warehouse house people were great though.
Caringbah store 1 star..Moore Park 5 star
Visiting Caringbah to purchase occasional chairs, was not acknowledged or spoken too. I had to go up to the sales desk and wait for the sales person to look up at me. I asked about a floor model, as I needed it that day, I was told there is only one and not to bother trying for 2 as no JL store has 2 of the same, to his total frustration I was informed . I said ok I’ll think about it and left. I returned 15 minutes later, and asked if any other stores would have the same floor stock, he checked and said for me to call them. No offer from him at all to help out . I left again and called Moore Park, I spoke to Kristy who was very helpful and said she would keep a watch on the chair for an hour while I headed to MPark.
…Again I went back into Caringbah, all sales staff were behind the counter watching me enter the store, the male I dealt with was again not interested in dealing with me with his head down, a female rep asked if she could help me, I directed my conversation at the male and said I wanted to purchase the chair.
He went over to the chair removed the tag, entered my details & took payment….AND then told me no one can help you with the chair due to OH&S…
I was taken back and said well how will I lift it by myself?? He just shrugged and said we have a dolly we can give you…
I left very frustrated saying I’d be back the next day with help , and headed to Moore park to pick up the other chair with help. The chair was wrapped for transport, Kristy also had me sign a document to say it was floor stock and was all ok.
The next day my son and partner went back to Caringbah, the chair was still on the floor, I was told my the male sales rep it would be wrapped for transport when we returned….Nope nothing! And no document? My son was just given a dollie and told don’t forget to return it…this was the same sales rep I had dealt with.
Never again will i step foot in the Caringbah store…don’t waste your time if you want customer service…head to Moore Park!
