Thank you for an amazing tour of the Scottish Highlands!

Our family had an amazing two day driving and walking tour of the Highlands with Ray Michael. We learned an incredible amount about Scotland’s history, and Ray kept our two teenage sons engaged throughout the tour by combining Scottish history with music and detailed story-telling.

We highly recommend Ray Michael and the Holyrood Travel team to learn about Scotland when you are visiting. Please consider using their team. Our family will use them again!

Being present in the hospitality and travel industry for over 15 years I know very well what luxurious and 5 star service includes.
As a Concierge and member of the Golden Key Society, I am not here to write a review because I like Ray and I want to put him in the best possible spotlight, I am writing this to ensure the people, guests and visitors who come to our wonderful city of Edinburgh and visit this magnificent country deserve nothing but the best when it comes to guiding, trust and professionalism.
Having worked closely with Ray for several years now, I can only say that he’s one of my number one to go guides when I my guests are asking for an experience, no matter if it’s just an Edinburgh day tour, an extended highlands tour or a multi day tour around Scotland.
Ray’s experience and knowledge is second to none and truly one of the best guides Edinburgh & Scotland have to offer.

Scotlands Best

Holyrood travel exemplifies what luxury experiences should be in Scotland. I can testify to this first hand having referred many guests to their range of services. At Kimpton Hotels we love connecting our guest with best of Scotland and I can’t recommend Ray and Holyrood Travel any higher. Bespoke itineraries tailored to each guests’ preferences, quality vehicles and knowledge is second to none. Really authentic service delivery which matches our Kimpton Culture. Great guided tour to the highlands

Scotland! What a wonderful country and wonderful people, so friendly and helpful.
My wife and I had a long weekend in beautiful Edinburgh and luckily got in touch with Ray through the Balmoral hotel concierge. What a great 10 hour guided tour we had with Ray. A 10 hour history lesson driving through Edinburgh and to the highlands stopping a beautiful historic sites, whiskey tasting and dining. I can warmly recommend Ray and Holyrood travel for a great experience.
