If i could give less than one star i would, do NOT waste your money supporting this rip off of a company. They will NOT cover anything regardless of what their plan says or you are told. Read all the reviews and see they back this one up. Total rip off and scam. I wish the criminal activity would be stopped as it is fraudulent to say the least.

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased the 5 year platinum plan for outdoor furniture at Fortunoff 7/ 2022 (not cheap). After 2 years, a poorly molded aluminum leg cracked on the sofa. My wife submitted several photos of everything requested to complete the claim in 9/2024. The kicked back the claim, claiming the receipt was not legible. Although our contract name and ID number was in the system. We tried to copy the receipt as as best wr could, but they claim it wasn't legible. Mind you, out information from the warranty purchase was in their system. My wife developed an unexpected life threatening illness, which kept us busy for 5 months. When I tried to resubmit another copy of the receipt, they said it was too late. Pure scam.
I filed a claim
I wish a zero star was available. I filed a claim. Took a few weeks for them to get back with me. I submitted all the required product information. They then forwarded everything to a third party company. Guess what. He didn’t have the part needed to fix my recliner even though Guardsman had all the information provided so the tech would have the part. So this will be a many week process. It’s almost like Guardsman doesn’t care at all about customer service, just their high cost of the plan. Very disappointing.

What a sad company to work for I'm sure. I paid close to $500 on my furniture warranty and it was a total scam. My claim was instantly denied, it was incredibly difficult to get to speak with anyone, waiting on the phone for a couple of hours and then eventually being told that my barely used furniture with its issue would not be covered, and the reason was evasive and kept circling back to it just isnt covered. total BS. if I could deter even 1 person from getting this coverage, I would be happy.
Used manufacturing defect to get out of coverage
I submitted a claim for a simple tear, and was told it wasn't covered because it's a manufacturing defect. On a sofa I've had for 3 years. A 'defect'. Their entire business is a total scam.
I submitted a claim the first week of December, but none of the claim numbers lined up with any lookups on their website. I could find the status of the claim, so I emailed customer support three separate times, called and never got anyone twice, and was unable to even see that I submitted a claim successfully. After 2 full months, I got a letter in the mail saying coverage was declined because it's a defect. It's a tear in a seat cushion! That's not a defect.
I don't know why any furniture store would sell their protection plans, they just refuse to let you use the coverage you paid for and make up reasons why.

It's a TERRBLE company to do business with. POOR PROCESS. They waste your time gathering information on the phone only to send you another email to continue online. The questionnaire is ridiculously long. Fields that are marked as "not required" are still required to progress. Some options to choose from are ridiculous, about 54 items on some pages. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GUARDSMAN
Don't waste your money
We purchased a leather recliner and bought the Guardsman protection plan. The leather started peeling and the $2000 chair now looks like junk. We filed a claim and they said peeling isn't covered. It is defective leather. What exactly do they cover? Complete waste of money. Don't do business with these people.

Steer Clear, complete Hoax
We bought a 3.5 and 3.0 seater Cleo couch from Domayne 12 months ago..
Due to the the light colour fabric we were strongly advised to pay the $339.00 for Guardsman Fabric Protection Plus.
Our claims were denied and we were informed that these were caused by normal wear and tear.
We were told to refer to the Product Warranty Exclusions.
I am confused as to what they actually honour in the warranty ?
I will certainly be letting Domayne know what a mistake they are making, recommending these imposters !

If I could give zero stars I would. We bought this plan with our furniture 3 years ago. I recently tried to submit a claim because I was cleaning the couch and the vacuum made small tears. While I admit, I made an error in misunderstanding that "cleaner" does not apply to personal cleaning, they will not assist me in correcting the error to process the claim further. I am a mom to three young children and have never had worse customer support in my life. They are doing everything in their power to simply take my money and deny any claim. Never buy this plan.

We bought their protection plan when we bought our carpets from Safavieh and we never received any service from them although we requested many many times. They even are not responding to the phone calls, if by any chance they answer the phone call, all they do is check my info that's all. Please stay away from them! I can't believe Safavieh recommends this company!

Awful company. I’ve had leather sofa 7 months and where I sit (despite having throws on it) the color has faded massively. I contacted them to be told that color loss on high contact areas is not covered. If that isn’t covered then gos knows what is. I could understand if I had it 10 years not 7 months. I also took out a 5 year sofa care plan with them yet can’t claim after 7 months. Scam artists and should be shut down

Horrible company to deal with. They don't even deserve one star. They are dishonest and don't stand behind what they claim they will cover and try to find any excuse to deny your claim. We paid for furniture coverage and it clearly states that seam separation is covered however when we had a seam separate on our fabric couch they said it was a stress rip which is not covered. You can clearly see it ripped at the seam.

Terrible company. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. They do not honor warranties. Just read their reviews. The deny EVERY claim. Rude customer service and non-existent techs, as they don't actually go fix anything. We purchased a 5 year plan, and they won't fix an issue that happened in the first year. Cheats! They have zero integrity or morals. They get money for nothing.
