What is FibreNest? FibreNest is a new provider of ultrafast, full-fibre broadband and voice communication services. We deliver 100%, totally unlimited full-fibre optic internet access directly into new Persimmon Group homes across mainland England, Wales and Scotland - supported with excellent standards of customer service. Why is FibreNest being installed on my development? The decision to deploy FibreNest to new Persimmon and Charles Church developments was made in specific response to a long history of customer complaints regarding existing mainstream communications providers’ performance. An unacceptable number of delays have been experienced by customers when using existing providers to deliver connectivity to new build homes, leading to dissatisfaction amongst customers when they were unable to access broadband services for long periods of time. Furthermore, once connected, some customers have then been provided with poor speeds, leading to unsatisfactory online experiences. FibreNest is being delivered to new developments to address these issues. We do this by helping ensure that Persimmon Group’s customers have more timely access to exceptional full-fibre broadband speeds and at great prices. When will my service be live? We endeavour to have your service ready for the day you move in to your new home. In the unlikely event that your service is not delivered in time you may be due a credit under our Late Installation Guarantee. Our Customer Support Team will be able to assist you.

Fibrenest are a scam!!!

Fibrenest are a scam!!!
Getting increasingly frustrated with the constant outages lasting whole days. I have no choice other than fibrenest in my property due to them enforcing a monopoly on my site. All they offer is an email telling us that the site is down and that they are investigating. Hours later still no internet and no real updates. It’s an utter disgrace. Not to mention they charge a fortune. This should be illegal to not allow the choice from other providers. What am I paying for?!

Jonathan Cale's Response to a British Gas Website access issue

Jonathan Cale responded very promptly to my reporting of difficulty in accessing the British Gas website and commented that I was not the first FibreNest customer to have shared a similar experience. He explained what was a technical interface issue with the British Gas website and how FIbreNest had already alerted British Gas to the issue. He provided a plain English summary for me to email on to British Gas and I am awaiting their response. As a Customer Support Specialist he did his job efficiently and politely. What a contrast to his British Gas opposite numbers!

Forced to use provider , expensive.

Forced to use provider , over the normal cost , pre-meditated daylight robbery. The only positive part of the entire experience was pre installation. Not impressed at all

FibreNest sent communication to all existing customers in May 2025, making customers aware that we are now part of OFNL, part of BUUK group, and confirmed customer choice will be available in 2026; this means when choice is available in your area, you will be able to review the choice of providers available to you and select a provider that meets your needs.

In addition to the choice of providers within 2026, you are also able to choose a mobile data provider, we recommend using an independent availability checker for the best options available in your area if this is something you are considering.

WiFi help!

I recently spoke with Nigel W as I needed help splitting my WiFi into two separate bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) so I could connect a baby monitor. Nigel was extremely helpful over the phone and took the time to clearly explain the process. He also sent step-by-step instructions to guide me through it afterwards, which made everything much easier to follow.

What really stood out was that Nigel took the time to follow up and ensure I had successfully completed everything. His support was professional, patient, and genuinely appreciated. Excellent customer service throughout.

Always accurate, factual & solved my problem or question. Well done.

In the last few weeks I've contacted Fibrenest re: a potential upgrade following almost 3 years' stability.

They've been accurate & helpful, if a bit on the costly side, although I can't do anything about that for 12 - 18 months.

Having come from a career (non-technical) in the Telecoms industry up to retirement I know what makes good customer service.
