Ezy-Fit Roller Shutters Omdömen 218

I've amended this review to reflect the recent customer service experience that I had when my remote suddenly stopped working. Damien helped out immediately on the phone and resolved my problem so I could get back into my workshop! My original review is below for transparency and because I have yet to order a third shutter from Ezy-fit. When i do, i'm sure the customer service and logistics will be better.

Original Review:
This is the second shutter i've ordered from Ezy-fit. It's the second time i've had issues. It's the second time that the "10 days delivery" has turned into a month or more and i've had to call to chase my shutter. In both cases, the day I phoned/emailed to find out the status of my missing shutter was the same day I got an email telling me it would be leaving the factory "today". As the title says, great product but terrible service and logistics. If it's going to take a month to get my shutter, that's fine, just tell me at the start, don't lie to me about how long it's going to take and then rush it through only when i ring up to complain.

Roller blind is well put together. And packaged in a way to avoid damage during transit. I recommend this company to any one. Fitting is a breeze with easy to understand instructions.

One motor failed and was replaced by Ezy-Fit.

Great product , excellent operation and function both in heat reflection and as of right now ,heavy rain and strong winds . Some small problems on install as a DIY owner but factory help and assistance could not have been more courteous or expert .

The door was very easy to install and it is a breeze to operate. It adds security to our property and looks nice

Ordering was easy, delivery was quick and undamaged due to excellent packaging. Easy to fit, works well, very happy with the units!

Ordered shutter through Bunnings. Found Bunnings did not have much product knowledge.this part of the exercise was a challenge.
After placing my order I received a call from Ezyfit who made the process very easy.
Roller shutter was manufactured and delivered within 10 days.
I was very impressed with the care taken in the packaging as well and the shutter itself.
Shutter was easy to fit. The only fault was the stencil was incorrect, but not hard to re mark.Its not rocket science.

Thanx to Ezy fit team for making the whole process simple. I would without a doubt be a repeat customer as well as recommend your product to others.

Easy to deal with and a great system to enable delivery and how to do it yourself from start to finish.

The shutters don't block out the sun 100% = more like having a low light in the room.
I thought I was getting remote control but have electric switches - I wanted remote control but it was too late to get that. I would have thought it was a matter of changing the switch.
The guys who put them on my upper floor cleaned out the gutter when they removed and rescrewed my metal roof - thanks for that - but did you really have to remove my roof? The wires from the shutter look weird coming out from the side of the control.
The guys who put them up on my upper floor left indentations in the metal roof of my new verandah.
The guy who put them up told me that the delay in installing them was because only half the required hardware was delivered and he had to reorder - maybe twice.
The guy who put them up left all the packaging for me to get rid of in my small domestic waste/recycling bins.
At some time during the installation a piece of gym equipment disappeared from my house. I asked the guy who put them up if he'd taken it but he said he didn't know anything about the equipment - what can one say to that?
The shutters are the right colour, they roll up and down, they never said they'd completely block out the sun so I am trying a different type of shutter and installer for the rest of the house.

Nothing but good things to say! Good quality product, great price, excellent team to ensure everthing is as it was.

Install wasn't too difficult, but definately required two people and only took about an hour.

Going to use these guys in the future 100%!

Great product and pricing. A couple of minor hiccups at install, but solved with outstanding customer service.

There is on-line support only and the response to urgent questions is poor.
The documentation I received was for the wrong device and the correct documentation contained errors.
Two people are required to erect the roller shutter and one must be an electrician. There is no support without an electrical certificate.
Even with two people, it is a tricky and long job requiring genuine handyman skills.
The motor did not function correctly upon installation but it took over a month to get a new motor since the problem was incorrectly diagnosed by Ezy-Fit as the electrical switch. The problem turned out to be a manufacturing fault in the internal wiring of the motor.
The roller shutter is good quality and (finally) works well. The up/down switch is not such good quality but has operated reliably since installation.
In summary, I believe the do-it-yourself installation is not properly supported and only experienced builders should attempt it with Ezy-Fit.

I have purchased 4 roller shutters and installed them myself. The support and assistance I received from Ezy-Fit was absolutely great. When I ran into difficulties all I did was call them and ask what to do to get out of my problem and the helped out every time.
Couldn't be more pleased.

If you have a proper measurements it’s the best and easy way to have your shutters done. Was too easy for me to fix it myself. Great product..

Pity the building contractors had not come across them til it came to fitting on my new house. As they bent side rails and now i have to get some one to fix problem on two windows
