Maybe I’m crazy but I got a sale email, so I…..

Maybe I’m crazy but I got a sale email and I bought something from them again.

I did think, maybe the service etc was a fluke - a one time thing to suck me into making another purchase and I won’t be so lucky next time. BUT I was wrong.

I’m in South Australia, I ordered the Never My Love embroidered dress on Monday 27 April 2026 and I received it today 30 April 2026. Item as described and appears, and fits as per the size stated.

My item came via DHL from
Indonesia.

I can’t complain about the item or the quick delivery service. Thanks!

I ordered a $300 dress in January and…

I ordered a $300 dress in January and it didn't arrive until the end of April. I had wanted it for a specific event so I was disappointed but since no refunds are issued I thought I'd make the most of it and make it a summer dress ...until it arrived. The dress I ordered was pink. It looked pink online in all the photos but it arrived ORANGE. Not a little hint of orange pink but bright orange. It was hideous and nothing like what was advertised! I reached out to customer service immediately and they were combative and rude. She told me no one else was complaining about this dress. Ok, so, I am! No resolution was offered and I ended up selling it online for a fraction of what I paid. Bad customer service, misleading photos and advertising, long shipment times, and poor quality. Overall I recommend you don't shop here. I'm also adding this review here a year later because they take them down on social media and I just now noticed that.

Outstanding customer service

This company was so bent on making me happy, they emailed and asked if I would like them to make me a custom fit dress based on my measurements. I said yes and boy did they deliver! This is one of the BEST company's I have ever dealt with!

They will go under due to high price and low quality.

Do not shop from this site, it's all smoke and mirrors... which is why you can't comment on any of their social sites. I bought a dress - almost $200 ON SALE... if you've been on the site you know everything is super expensive. The product is complete trash... poor quality. Bad stitching & fabric. I was so disappointed. They will go under due to high price and low quality.

The item I received does not match the…

The item I received does not match the photo or the description listed. Only one image was provided, and it does not accurately represent the actual product, which feels misleading.
Transparency and customer trust are essential in any business, and this experience fell short of that standard. What’s most disappointing is that refunds are not offered, even when the product does not match how it is represented.
This policy leaves customers without a fair resolution. I would not recommend purchasing unless product descriptions, images, and return policies are improved.

Doesn't look exactly like photo and shipping is way to long

So I didn't wait as long as other people did for there item. I only waited a month which was way past the estimated shipment date. I was told 6 to 10 business days and I just recieved it today ordered may 2025 got june 2025. I reached out multiple times about my order and heard nothing back. Usually I gain success from posting my misfortunes on the comment section of whatever post they recently made on Instagram which seemed to work and finally got a reply. I ordered the mystic dress for my engagement photos and I loved the sheer look of it . Now the product I received was pretty much cut exactly the same but it wasn't as sheer as the model and it looked way more flowy on the model. The sheer part was on the back of the dress on the one I recieved but the skirt I could pretty much just wear nude color underwear and be ok. I wanted the sheerness of the dress like it was depicted online it gives it an edge or sexyness to a modest cut. I planned on wearing an undergarment similar to the model so I'm disappointed and probably won't wear it for my engagement photos. I also hate when stores only do online credit so I can't get a refund. I dont usually spend this much money and wanted something nice for my engagement photos. I dont hate the dress and it is made with good material, I would purchase from them again but the experience wasn't ideal. I dont recommend if your on a time crunch and pay attention because a lot of there items are pre-order def look in ready to ship.

mooie spullen maar slechte service

Het is niet duidelijk aangegeven bij bestellen dat Pre Order wel 9 maanden wachten kan duren. Ik had in december een jurk en blouse besteld voor een bruiloft in mei... er is zoveel mailverkeer geweest met belofte na belofte... maar de jurk was niet op tijd. Ik had een M/L besteld en ze hadden besloten alleen een echte M te maken. toen ik uiteindelijk de jurk kreeg was deze te krap bij de oksels. Ook zijn de verzend en import kosten zo hoog dat het artikel 2 x zo duur wordt. niet aan beginnen dus. Ze beloofde om kosten te besparen mijn blouse en jurk samen op te sturen. Dat is niet gebeurt. Ze beloven veel maar maken weinig waar. Soms hebben ze Free shipment... maar dat is mij niet aangeboden.

Impossible shipping times and terrible customer service for the price point

Echoing what others have said that the shipping times are asinine especially considering the price point of the garments. I made a CAD600 order with them in May of 2024 and now its January of 2025, it still hasnt shipped, and I am moving to a different city in a month. Want to take bets on whether or not this order will be shipped within a year of when I ordered it?
Like others have said, I want a refund, but they only offer store credit. I dont care how nice the materials are, if they take an entire year to ship and my emails requesting customer service dont get replied to, it's not worth it.

I ordered a blouse for my birthday in June 2024. It’s December 2024 and I still haven’t received, customer service is apologizing for the “slight delay”. Slight? Are you living in a different time reality than most people? It’s half a year and I still haven’t even received it. I maybe have a few years left of life to wear it but at this pace who knows if I’ll be hitting 60s or 70s by the time it gets delivered?!
Oh and they don’t give out refunds. Just store credit, so you can order instead something else that will never arrive…

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Extremely poor delivery time estimates. I have waited months & months for items with no updates from customer service.
I purchased a dress that arrived with extremely thin and see-through fabric which was not explained on the item page.
It arrived months later than the website detailed.
I recived a coupon as they do not refund and changed items.
This item had still not been sent out and it was over 2 months late.
Just completely fed up and wanted a refund and to shop elsewhere but the business refused to refund and just such poor and unhelpful communication.

Wouldnt recommend. Wont shop here again.

I would give 0 stars.
There have been a few issues with this business, I tried to keep supporting them as a small Australian business but I can't after this last purchase.
Several times I've contacted the company after the product I received looked completely different to the product advertised, mostly colour difference issues.
Each time the business said there's always a "slight colour" difference between advertising and product and I suggested they stop using filters when advertising as it's really making a big difference to the actual garment colour and its misleading customers.
They said thanks for the suggestion they'll pass it along but that's it.
But this time the garment colour was SUCH a completely different colour to the one advertised in the photos and written descriptions and I'd had enough, it's not even remotely similar to the one advertised.
It was advertised as pale mauve yet I received an orange and pink dress.
I contacted customer service, who again stated there's always a "slight variation" in colour, but this isn't a slight variation though, it's a completely different colour.
Customer service said "sorry the dress isn't to YOUR perfection" and that I can return and they'll assess the dress and decide how to handle the return.
This business has a difficult return process, even if you get a damaged or faulty item.
You pay to return, THEY decide if it's damaged or faulty, and if they decide its not tough luck for you, they might not refund if they feel they can fix it themselves and if they decide that can't then you get a partial refund of store credit only, again even if the item is damaged or faulty you only get a partial refund of store credit.

I once received a crochet top that was advertised as a certain size for XL, however when I got the top it was much much smaller and I measured it and the measurements were for a smaller size, I returned at my cost and they sent me a partial refund of store credit because magically the top had grown in the mail and had the XL measurements when they assessed it upon return. I asked them why I had different measurements so how can it suddenly be bigger when they have it, thus affecting my refund amount and they just never replied.

This dress that is orange and pink NOT pale mauve as advertised is the final straw for me, and the attitude of the staff who wrote to me that it was just me who felt "it wasn't perfect enough for me" was infuriating, they didn't acknowledge the issue of colour difference at all, just were like "oh sorry you're not happy enough with it, send it back at your cost and we'll consider what to do"
The dress is a completely different coloured dress. It looks nothing like what I thought I was buying from the photos chosen to be used for advertising.
The dress advertised looks like a creamy dress with mauve stitching for the embroidery, the dress I got is ORANGE with pink stitching.
Not even remotely similar to the picture at all.
The constant use of filters and then using the excuse "there's always a slight colour variation" isn't okay, you're misleading customers to think their buying one colour but receive a different colour item instead.
And these are EXPENSIVE items. Very expensive, they should look the same as they're advertised!
And then there's the "estimated shipping dates" which could be well over 6 months from your purchase date, and no updates in between, and if you ask about your very expensive item you get no information from customer service, they often change the dates as well without informing the customer, the month will just change in the description if the item is still listed online.
So if you buy an item listed as "shipping out from August" they could change it online to October and just not tell you.
And there are no updates at all in between buying and being shipped.
You are waiting months and months and months and they just don't give any updates.

I'm done with this business.
They're dishonest.
And its so disappointing to be expecting one thing and get something so completely different and only to be told by customer service that "it's just you unhappy" no, it's YOU who advertised one colour then made it a completely different one.
I'll be updating this review as the last of my orders still haven't been sent.
I wish I could post a photo of the advertised dress and the actual dress I received so you could all see just how different they are.

Great brand.

I have had nothing but success with Chasing Unicorns. Though my items are shipped from AU, it does not take long at all. I do have to sign for items through DHL, unless I specify after ordering that I cannot sign for them. The quality of clothing is excellent. Crochet, silk, just great materials. No complaints here.

Überzeugt

Wunderschöne Kleidungsstücke, qualitativ hochwertig und in einzigartigen Designs. Durch die lange Wartezeit nur vier Sterne, preislich eher kostspielig. Ich hatte Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice, weil eine Lieferung nicht bei mir ankam und es wurde einen Gutscheincode mit dem exakt selben Betrag ausgestellt, welcher nicht funktionierte. Bei erneutem Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice erhielt ich einen neuen Code mit dem hat es geklappt. Kundenservice war verständnisvoll und antwortete innert kürzester Zeit. Werde wieder bestellen, meine Traumkleider!
