The best platform for alternative investment
I have invested through a number of platforms over the years and had my fair share of good and bad experiences! None have been as hands on or as diligent as Brickowner. It hasn't been an easy year but they have gone over and above the call of duty to protect my interests. Looking forward to investing again with Brickowner and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very happy with Brickowner
I have raised money on Brickowner to help buy a property development project in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, where we are going to build 15 houses and 5 flats. It is a challenging project because we need to raise a lot of capital £700,000. Gareth Ship the COO has been very helpful as has Adam Knowles, George Delori and the CEO Fred Bristol is a steady hand leading the company. I have been able to introduce my contacts as potential investors and having a well established company like Brickowner has given my contacts a significant amount of comfort about investing. I'm very happy to recommend Brickowner and am already in discussions with them about launching another development project on their platform.

I've used brickower a few times to invest in property. The team are great, helping explain the whole process to me. Also the investments are doing great.

I invested into this platform over a year ago. As soon as I invested I received an email and call from a client manager who talked me through the whole platform and benefits. I have invested in a few properties now and all are forecasted to make a great return. Very glad I made this investment decision.

What communication you get is to be told that the repayment will be delayed yet again. All three of my projects are long overdue. I suspect I will have to write off the lot.
Update as at 28.02.24. My suspicions were correct. Don't touch with a bargepole.
3 years later, yet to see my investment returned
Yet to see my investment capital and returns after 3 years. Regent House Project was initially advertised as a 1 year project with up to 30% return. I agree this is a high RoE, but this is what was advertised so I've taken the risk with the information provided to me. 3 years later, the latest update has pushed it back another year to September 2022. Assuming this is honoured, a 1 year project actually taking 4 years and 2 months. On top of that, the anticipated return has been halved from 30% to around 15%. That's around 3.75% per year at best. I'd have been much better off putting the money in an REIT and can withdraw my investment at any time. Will not use again.

Understand that the capital is at risk…
Understand that the capital is at risk but this company estimation on return and timescale was far from accurate. Sharing my experince to highlight the risks and increase the transparency of this asset class.
- I invested in their Canynge Square project which estimated exit within 1 year , to date it still haven't been completed.
- The projected return is 10.7% rather than 24%. 3x the time in terms of exposure, less half than the return. This equal to 3% annual return compared to the 24% promised.
- Appreciate there are risk in investment, but repeatly there are delays with the contractors and finance. V. bad project management and a gap of factor of 8 between expectation and reality investment return.
- Please make use my experince as a bench mark if you wish to invest with them.
