Perfect!

A couple of years ago I had a parcel supposed to be delivered next day by Yodel and unfortunately it arrived late - How Things Have Changed!!! I have had several parcels since then that have been delivered exactly when they should have been including my last delivery on Saturday which was perfect.
Their on-line tracking service is great, I could follow collection right through to delivery every step of the way. I even got an email sent to me saying it had been left at my neighbour at No. 5 (as I had requested if I was out).They may have had problems a few years ago but since then my experiences with them have been smooth, efficent and very professional. I highly recommend this Company

awful. delivery guy scratched car trying then throw the parcel into garden

Our drive way just about fits out classic vw. By fits there is zero room I get in the car via rear. So imagine surprise when yodle try to squeeze down the side. After leaving a nice scratch from a zip or something then have thrown the package or something as now the package is in the garden about 20-30 ft away.

Disgusted

I ordered phone from Virgin on 09/04/14 and had e-mail confirming delivery on the 12th, it never arrived. Then told it would arrive on the 14th, tracking service noted it had been delivered at 13.48pm, it was never delivered to me!!!! I assumed it had been delivered to an address in Wilsden with a similar postcode to mine. Whoever accepted the parcel signed my name too. I've spent hourS on the phone since with Virgin and eventually spoke to an investigator at Yodel on the 17th. Apparently the driver Is going back to retrieve the parcel ( I won't hold my breath, I can't think he will have much success getting a phone back, especially when whoever has accepted the parcel knows it wasn't meant for them) . Yodel closed for Easter so situation still unresolved. I'm very disappointed with customer service both from Virgin and Yodel. Really don't know what to do next!!!!!!!!!

Driver and a Drunk smelly wife

My delivery from amazon last night made me sick... The driver was ok- he got out of the van at one stage. The wife(I am being polite) was a drunk smelly waste of space... He sat in the van.. She did the delivery... Never again. Do you vet these people?

Gypsies, tramps and thieves

This has got to be the worst parcel delivery company in the world. Constantly stealing & loosing parcels, they have been on bbc watchdog for such a poor service, tried telling me no one was in my open pub even though checking CCTV they never turned up! Driver just trying to get finished early! I needed this delivery for the bank holiday weekend. I have suggested one of the managers gets my parcel and drives it to me later today but that of course is impossible. I will now avoid shopping with companies that use yodel as I cannot rely on yodel and the parcel probably being stolen or lost, or their staff or just taking the I don't care attitude. Please anyone using this company be very aware that you may not receive your parcel.

Once again they have delivered far to soon , why complain I hear you say well I like to think that if you tell me a date that I can arrange to be there and organise myself. Not have it delivered four days early . Why can't they say we are close to your house look out your window .

Great service

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! MY PARCEL HAS BEEN STOLEN

I made my order in Sports Direct through their web-site. I paid nearly £100 for my goods.
I received SMS from Yodel jn Saturday morning that they have my parcel and they will deliver this parcel in two working days.
In two hours I received next SMS that my parcel has been delivered to my neighbours and that I can find details in the card which the driver left in my door.
However I was at home whole day and nobody came. I did not receive any card.
My neighbours were out home whole weekend and they did not receive any parcel.
I said to Yodel immediately about their fault but already 9 days gone and I have nothing!
I paid money for this goods and Yodel get my parcel but I did not get anything.
So my parcel has been stolen.
I go to Police, Court, write to Ombundsmen and to FTO.

Much better than expected

My parcel was delivered 3 days earlier than expected, I received text messages and e-mails to inform me they were on the way. I was preparing to rearrange my plans for the day so that I could be in for delivery, however there was no need as the parcel arrived shortly after 10.30 am. I am delighted with the service both from Dunelm and from Yodel.

Yodel no way

Never experienced a worse delivery company. Unresponsive uncontacable inflexible generally impossible to get my order from. We have a depot 5 mins from our home,but this was too easy so they send it to a depot 45 mins away.We suggested that they send it to the local depot.You would have thought we had asked them to reinvent the wheel.
So instead we had to wait in all day as they can not give a time slot.On top of this we had to wait 2 weeks for the order to arrive. I will never order from a company that uses this company again. This is not the first time that I have had the misfortune to have dealings with this company.

By far the worst courier service I've ever dealt with.

So I ordered a new TV from Amazon on Monday evening. I paid extra to have it delivered by Thursday. The tracking page has shown this same message since yesterday: "Parcel arrived at a carrier facility - 16 April 2014 21:02:50 ." Wonderfully vague. They did show me courtesy of updating my tracking page with the following message though: "We are sorry, but it appears your parcel has been delayed. Please find details below. Your parcel requires a signature."

Well that is fantastic, why has it been delayed? Zero communication, can't get hold of them through any means. I had plans today and tomorrow, now I have a bank holiday weekend of hanging around the house hoping one of these idiots arrives at my door.

I'd also like to point out I've never had a problem with Amazon delivery before. Furthermore, this is the first time Yodel has been charged with delivering for me. What a coincidence...

absolute disgrace and bare face liars DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

now the third day just got another text saying attempted delivery i have been sat outside my house in the sun since 8.30 this morning no my-yodel van has even come on my street and i have 4 witnesses to verify that you have now committed fraud twice in 3 days by recording an attempted delivery when it has not even happened. cant get a answer on any of ur phone numbers this is truly shocking business from a so called professional company. lets see how long it takes them to contact me because so far service has bin non existent

load of morons employed as delivery drivers.

this is without a doubt the worst delivery service you will ever have to deal with. they employ morons as drivers who think it is ok to throw parcels over a locked 6 foot back gate not having any idea if the contents are fragile or not and then leave a card saying "parcel through back gate " as if they were paul daniels. another of there safe delivery spots is to put the parcel in your rubbish bin even if the bin has food waste in it or to leave it for everybody to see {or steai } in plain view by your front door. to sum up the drivers are idiots suppervised by bigger idiots!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!! Absolutely RUBBISH

I placed an order with Tesco on Monday evening. I was informed that it would be delivered on Wednesday (next day delivery). It did not arrive. I called Tesco, and they informed me that Yodel was the agent. On Thursday, I called Yodel at 8 am and let them know that I required the order today as I had ordered wine for guests on the friday. They told me that I would definitely receive the order today, and not to worry.I left them my mobile number and directions to my house. I called at lunch time, and was assured that the order was definitely coming it had been loaded on to the van at 9.11am.and not to worry it was most certainly coming. I called again at 8pm and told the same story, and was assured it was most certainly still coming!!!!! Has it arrived?
NO!!!! Does anyone at Yodel care? absolutely not!!!!!! Probably the worst company

Great Service, Arrived in 24 Hours!

Great service, arrived very quickly with nice polite and smiling delivery driver.
I would definitely use to send.
Very quick wasn't expecting it within 24 hours!
Have received several parcels from Yodel now and all have been delivered as promised the same day of the text message, which is fab!
I've always had Polite friendly delivery drivers too, which makes it even better!!

Love the fact that you are sent a text message to say the parcel is out for delivery.
Would be even better if you could receive one the day before as a warning, but still good to receive a Heads-up about delivery!

Terrible!

Waited in all day to receive a next dat delivery however there is no sign of it, I mean on the tracking page it still says out for delivery since 9am? This is rubbish!!!

Item ordered and delivered within 24 hours - How's that for service!

I ordered the item and the next day I received an email to say the item was on its way with a reference number to track the delivery if I wanted. Upon delivery I received a
text to say that the item had been delivered. I couldn't have received a better service.

Most useless couriers I've ever used ... avoid!

This is the second time I have paid for next day delivery & yodel have not delivered the next day. What is wrong with your drivers? The day I expected the 1st parcel from them, apparently a card was left as no one was home (according to online tracking), yet there was no card here and no van had even come down my street all day & I was home all day... LIARS!!! It then got delivered the next day, fortunately I had just got back from work in time & was actually suprised he bothered to deliver.
I was expecting another parcel from yodel today, I waited in all day as I saw my delivery had been loaded on the van early this morning & I had paid for it to be delivered today ... have they delivered?? Of course they haven't ... the reason why I chose next day delivery is for it to be delivered THE NEXT DAY as I needed the items. Well done as now I will not have them in time.... and no doubt your driver will turn up tomorrow when it suits him & i'm not home! Absolutely useless, yet happy to charge you the extra for a service you're not getting. Customer service is also non existent with this lot.
Drivers seem to just deliver when they fancy and lie to cover themselves!
I expect a refund because of your incompetence to deliver in the timeframe you specified... you must be making extra money out of alot of people by saying you will deliver the next day, charging more for it then delivering within a 'standard delivery' timeframe which is half the price.
