Hello friend. Zazzle has a good user interface for designing products. Granted their prices are a bit steaper then other places for custom work-- but that's okay. You cannot compete with the effiency of their assembly and manufacturing. On top of that, most places have limited colors, or require you to spend time to consult with someone who proofs it. Zazzle seems to automate that process (or something) and it's well worth a few bucks more just to avoid all that time to figure stuff out. A+++ highly suggest using zazzle.
Can't complain about the price - but I wasn't completely satisfied with the product.
I bought a sign with read printing on a white background. First of all it came with a small border at the bottom - seemed like the picture wasn't cut off properly. Well, it doesn't matter, I thought - when I put it in a frame, no one will notice.
However - the white background also had several shadowy spots and lines of ink from the letters. Very distinct on a white background, so I can't really give this as a gift now as I intended.
I have a shop here and have never seen the quality of the ipod cases so I was a little worried, because my Grandson wanted NO BACKGROUND color. I tried to change his mind and He wanted nothing to do with it. We both put this case together after looking through a million pictures on my iPad. The fun part was knowing how much he loved designing his own case and putting his name on it. The smile he had on his face when his case showed up was definitely a kodak momment! Now he has something he loves and knowing he created it adds that extra special touch. He can show it off to his friends and His friends, friends! Thank you Zazzle! Your sites amazing!
This company sell crappy product at outrageous prices. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! You have been warned. They will not refund your money. They don't care as long as they already have it. I bought a clock for $27 and it was a $5 clock. It was just a piece of plastic with a sticker on it. The second hand fell off as soon as I took it out of the box! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!! I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
As has been stated below, they masquerade as a UK company and then take an eternity to deliver the goods. I ordered 3 birthday cards which can quite easily be posted and they quote up to 12 working days delivery after despatch (18 if you include the weekends). Surely there is no place on this planet that cannot be reached by post in around 10 days maximum, so why do these idiots think that amount of time is acceptable? After contacting Customer Services to enquire I received 2 condescending emails counting up the days from despatch for me, then a follow up with a patronising "we'll forward your comments to the appropriate department" fob off. First and last time for using these cowboys.
The goods arrived this morning and were posted from an address in Middlesex, not Internationally. Unsurprisingly I only received 2 out of the 3 items I ordered, so they don't even bother to send out everything you pay for either. Shambles.
Honestly, I've spent months looking for decent business cards. I sure wasn't going to pay over $100 for a stack of cards that will look just "okay". Somehow I stumbled upon zazzle.com and thought it was pretty cool how I could customize everything that I saw and not just a limitation to certain things. Once I saw the price, I had to tell my mom to check the site out. I paid the same amount as she did from a different site, but mine look way better, feel better (texture) and mine aren't from a preset option like hers. lol
Easy to order. Shipment came on the date they said it would. Packaging was good. I love the mugs I ordered (both had 10 photos from my instagram). The only bad thing i can say is one of the photos on the mug had 2 tiny little marks, like it happened in the printing process. You can't really notice them but I did right out of the box. I meant to tell them and see what they'd say, but I love my mugs anyway and am happy with them. I would order again.
You know how you can never find that perfect card or that perfect little "I'm thinking of you" gift when you need it? Well, you can find it on this website. I could spend a whole day just browsing but I know that I would buy just about everything on there. After I ordered, I decided to mail a couple things out for Valentine's day which was just around the corner. I called Customer Service and they were just great. Changing my method of shipping would not make it happen unless they could rush it out the door, which they did allowing me to receive my order, package it up and get it to my friend by Valentine's Day. It's hard to find that kind of service today and I truly appreciate this website and all that they offer.
The site presents as operating in the UK and other countries but only reveals freight costs and the reality once you've gone to all the effort of putting the order together. This is clearly unethical. I ordered a single custom mouse mat which had not been finished properly so the surface comes away from the base - it had never been stuck properly. Delivery time also took longer than stated despite costing more than £30 which I wouldn't have condoned had I not been in a rush at the time.
I've ordered two products from Zazzle now. My first being a hoodie which I ordered at almost four years ago. Despite the four years of age, the hoodie looks practically the same as it did when I received it day one. I was worried because most customized graphics on clothing usually flakes away within the first year, but this one still stands
My second product is a wall-decal which I've placed my order for today. (March 2nd, 2014)
The decal itself costed $16.95 for a 12''x12''. I managed to find a 20% off coupon that knocked the price down to $13.56 which was really nice. However, the shipping costed $7! That's more than half the price of the product itself! (discounted price of course) I'm sure the shipping prices vary depending on where you live and it's probably just because I live in North Carolina and their company is located in California. So I'm not going to completely blame Zazzle for that.
Once I receive the decal, I'll modify my review with details about the decal's quality.
Updated on: March 10th, 2014 The wall-decal arrived at 7:00PM via UPS on the estimated delivery business day. Upon opening the package, I noticed the decal was made out of a nice material, not as I was expecting. The wall-decal looks exactly like the vector graphic I had uploaded and well meets my expectations.
The stickyness of the decal is really nice, so nice that it can be reused if needed.
Here's the original vector of my design: http://enu.li/?i=Echo/Vector.png
And here's Zazzle's result: http://enu.li/?i=Echo/Zazzle.png
I was able to upload the picture of my Daughter with her Fiance for a wedding plate. The wedding will take place on March 17, 2014. Right, St. Patrick's Day! Try to find a wedding anything that shows the day and wedding items. You have to make it yourself and Zazzle allows you you do just that. Thank you for a great, easy result that has made the occasion just a bit more special.
Tl;dr: The preview images are a lie, and there's some shady stuff going on with the reviews on the Zazzle site itself.
I'm only giving Zazzle more than one star because they're giving me a full refund without requiring me to return my faulty product. That said, I don't recommend them at all.
I ordered a phone case. The preview online showed a high-resolution image on the case. Crisp, clear, and vibrant. The product I got was blurry, pixelated, dull, and terrible quality. Really-- it looks like something I printed off of a Geocities website in the 90s. I would estimate that the print source image was about 72 dpi, tops, and then enlarged to fit. The case also arrived chipped. Judging by the shape of the chip and the fact it's only in the sublimated design, not the case itself, it's a manufacturing default. It more than likely looked like this before it left the factory. It's small, but I noticed it within the first seconds of looking at the case. Even a quick once-over would have caught it. Zero quality control before shipping on both the image and the printing. No matter how good your customer service is, a bad product is a bad product. Also, the plastic sleeve the case was packaged in was too small for the case. It's a little thing, but it looks really unprofessional. You know instantly that you've ordered something cheap that you were overcharged for. Overall, just no pride in their products.
Customer service got back to me within one day, so props for that. They offered me a full refund while waiving the usual inspection requirement, probably because I included a photo of the damage. More kudos for that, and added kudos for recommending I donate the case. However, nowhere in the e-mail did they apologize or offer to help if I had any further questions. Just "Here's your refund! Come buy more stuff!" Again, no pride in the product, not even in the auto-generated responses that their poor customer service reps have to send out.
I went to post this review on the Zazzle website when I got an e-mail asking me to review my experience. I am --locked out-- of reviewing it. It says over and over that I've "Already reviewed this product." I have never ordered a Zazzle product before now; I've never reviewed anything on their site before. I suspect they locked me out of reviewing it because it arrived damaged.
Overall, if you want a cool/custom case, go onto Etsy. There are plenty of people making them in home studios and selling them for half the price. They do a better job and care about what they do.
I had a great experience purchasing business cards through Zazzle- great designs, great variety, great prices, great service! I have only purchased business cards though, other items on the site are a little too pricey for my budget. Business cards are definitely the way to go with Zazzle!
I have designed several shirts that were made by Zazzle. The design program is easy to use, but sometimes people like me still have a learning curve. I quickly got that behind me. One of the things I especially like is that there are quite a few more options than another web site [CP] that makes tee shirts and coffee mugs and stuff. Apparently Zazzle, the more recently developed program, saw the limits and overcame them. I'd recommend Zazzle for anyone.
