Best online pet food distributor ever!

After many years of trying to find local pet food stores that catered to those of us who want the best quality food for our pets, I started looking online. Went through several until Chewy.com. I have had up to 6 rescue chihuahuas at one time, all with specific dietary needs based on age and health as a result of their previous owners lack of care. Chewy caters to those of us who have those concerns and provides everything, including prescriptive diets that were only found at the veterinarian.
In addition, they have the kind of toys and treats for my petite chihuahuas, something that was difficult to find.
Prices are by far more reasonable than our local pet specialty store in Cheshire, where I was charged $25.00 for a 4 lb. bag of Halo that I now pay $11.99 at Chewy with free delivery in two days.
They also sent me a thank you card after my second order. So thoughtful.
As an amusing aside, "Saturday Night Live" did a skit about those of us who are particular about the quality of the food we feed our pets. Very amusing and somewhat too the extreme with some truth to it.
Thanks Chewy.com for all you do.

Best customer service I've seen in a long time

I'm ordering a lot of things online these days and Chewy.com not only has a great selection of pet foods and accessories with good prices and fast delivery but it's got the best customer service I've seen in a long time. I won't hesitate to stop buying from a place based on the customer service alone because there are so many other choices with online shopping these days and I really need to feel that I can trust a company and that it cares about good service. This is especially true when it comes to my pets. Chewy.com has all the benefits of a big store but with that extra touch that you used to find in the "mom and pop shops." They really do want their customers to be happy and they're constantly improving. Don't hesitate to try them.

Amazing store and out of this world customer service

I don't usually give store recommendations online but I have to highly recommend chewy.com for all your pet needs. We've been shopping through them since moving to NYC (and realizing that transporting 30 lbs of kitty litter 30 blocks is no fun in the city) and their prices are great. I just had to call customer service about an order and not only did I get a human being in only a few rings, she was incredibly helpful and polite.

Cheap prices! Super fast shipping!

"I had reservations when I first ordered from Chewy because I never heard of them before. Seeing that they had so many good reviews I decided to make a small order with them first, just to be on the safe side. I got my product (Dr. Elsie Cat Attract litter) in only 2 days for a great price. Placed a bigger order with them and 2 days later, it's on the UPS truck and out for delivery.
I have never had to deal with customer service, so I can't give my opinion on that... but just the fact that I never had a reason to call customer service is great in my opinion.
Bottom line is that the prices are great and the shipping/processing is super fast! Would definitely recommend this company!"

Best Prices and Customer Service!

My dog is allergic to almost everything(grains, soy, corn), and for the past 5 years I've been spending money on high quality food at local pet stores. I don't drive, so I usually bought a 30lb bag and took it on the subway, a train and a bus and a few blocks of walking. The price for the food was $62.

I found Chewy when looking for snow boots. I bought them and the boots were great! A month later, I received a postcard in the mail saying "Hope your dog enjoyed those little red boots!" how amazing? That they remembered!

Out of curiosity I looked up the dog food I buy and it was available for $47! About $20 cheaper and with free shipping. If I signed up for auto delivery I would get 15% off! What a deal. And having it delivered to my home meant no hassles with transportation.

I started buying food and I was happy. Now that spring is here, I decided to buy my dog a rain coat. Plastic shopping bags were not cutting it. When I got it, the coat was one size too small. Darn it! I hate doing online returns. Shipping a product back for $5 and waiting a week for them to receive them and then another week for them to send out your item... gross. I called them, not looking forward to the conversation.

The guy told me they would refund my money and asked that I donate the rain coat to a local shelter. How amazing is that? No good deed goes unnoticed. I am recommending them to everyone I know!

I wish they wouldn't sell shock collars though. Other than that, this company is best for pets.

Amazing company with amazing customer service!!

My 19yo cat recently needed to be switched to a special diet, so I decided to order her food from chewy.com because of their great return policy (and due to it being unavailable in my area). Unfortunately it ended up not agreeing with my cat's stomach so I needed to return it. Because it is a more unusual food it was only available in a 24 pack case, which I was dreading having to box up and ship back. When I called customer service to facilitate the return I was pleasantly surprised that they not only refunded me, but said I didn't have to return the food, but to donate it to a shelter! That to me is great customer service and a great company; they have secured me as a customer for life!

Chewy Devotee

We have four dogs, so food is an expensive and important part of our household. The autoship feature is terrific - all I have to do is tweak it a bit as time goes by with no hassle. I've also noticed that you can't beat their prices. As a bonus, the website is easily maneuvered - not always the case.
More importantly, our oldest girl has terminal cancer. Our unending search to find food that she'll eat has brought us to a case and a half of canned dog food that she just won't have any part of. I really don't want to start my other dogs on canned, so wanted to just return one of the cases. The rep was friendly and when I explained the situation, a full refund was given and only requested that I donate the food to a local shelter. I was astonished. I realize this is a trust issue and I suppose the fact that I've now ordered for several months, I appear to be a trusted customer. Without hesitation I'll be donating that food and give them the credit that's due. I was already happy with my shopping with Chewy, but this has brought me to a new level of loyalty. Shop at Chewy; you will not regret it. Good prices, great customer service. No way to lose.

WOW....this company is GREAT!!

I ordered Iam's Intestinal plus dry and canned food for my dog. She has colitis and it is only controlled by this food. The food is wonderful so I will not experiment with any different food. I placed the order for a 15 lb. bag of dry plus a case of the canned food. I can't believe that I received it the next day and the shipping was free! This is the best find for me since I like to travel and have always had to pack all the food with me in the car. Now I can just have it delivered to the place where I will be staying...Now that is WONDERFUL. What a pleasure it is to work with this company. Thank you Chewy, I am forever grateful!

Best Customer Service

I ordered the wrong dog food and called to make a return/exchange. Amir handled my call and was above and beyond any customer service I could have received from my own business! Thank you Chewy for a great customer service rep and for the easy process of making a return! You're a top notch company! I'll never shop anywhere else for my "little one" who's not so little.

Top Notch Customer Service!

It's hard to find companies that really care and aren't trying to rip their customers off, but Chewy.com is one of those few that try their best to help people out. They're cheaper than everyone else, the website is nice and functional, and shipping doesn't take forever. Above all of this, I got something in the mail from Chewy.com. It was a cute postcard with a handwritten note on the back thanking me for my business and even noted what I ordered. This is a very simple gesture that just doesn't happen anymore. It made my day. I kept the post card as it meant a lot.

On an unrelated note, my cat's name is Chewy, short for "Chewbacca," and she likes boxes, so I gave her the Chewy.com box and now she has a box with her name on it. :)

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, FASTEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!

I ordered 24 cans of Hill's Prescription Diet I/D canned food yesterday, Thursday, April 10, just before noon. A short while later, I received a confirmation email from chewy.com that my order had been received. I suspected it would be shipped maybe Monday. To my surprise, I received an email later in the day that my order had been shipped. I wrote a response email in which I thanked the company and mentioned how truly awesome chewy.com is. To my utter shock, my food arrived today, Friday, April 11, around 1:00 p.m.!!!!!! I stand in awe of this company. Customer service and quality products at affordable prices is the name of their game. Thank you, chewy.com. I am a customer for life.

Chewy is awesome

It was time to order more Flea stuff for the mud so I was searching high and low for the best price, then I found Chewy and in matter of 2 days I saved $15 from all other stores I had found, and they sent it to me 2-day UPS at no charge.

There is a added bonus which is the auto delivery, I have it set up to automaticly send me a new box every 6 months, I never again have to remember to buy more stuff for the mud.

Slow shipping if you don't live in their delivery area

Great prices, but call ahead and make sure you're near one of their hubs. Being in Las Vegas I called after my order to see when it would arrive. They said not until the next Tuesday (almost a week) because they said that I was in their "4-5 business days" delivery area.

Their website brags about 1-2 day shipping, but have no way of giving you a guesstimate of delivery times unless you call or chat with them.

Excellent customer service!

I've ordered twice from them. The first order required a prescription, which my vet snail-mailed to me. The delay caused an automatic cancellation of my chewy.com order, but as soon as I emailed them a picture of the prescription, they reinstated the order even though it was 10:30 pm! And my order arrived the next day! How did they do that? The second time I ordered something else my order arrived the next day again. Great company!

The best customer service!!!

Hands down this is the BEST company i have ever dealt with. Prices are way below and PetStore chain and their customer service is out of this world!! When my order arrived (which was the next day!!!) i realized that i had purchased the wrong items. I called customer service to find out how to return the un-opened packages of dog food and treats and was told that they would credit my account and i could take my items and donate them to my local shelter. When have you EVER heard of that!

I was blown away when they told me to donate my "return" item to a local shelter or rescue!

I ordered the wrong wireless fence collar receiver for my dog ($60 value). When I called to ask about returning the product, the very friendly and helpful customer rep. told me that the money would be refunded and just to donate the collar to a local rescue or animal shelter. I was shocked! I asked if she needed any proof of the donation--and she said, "We trust you and want to help out whenever we can!" I am definitely going to be a repeat customer!

FANTASTIC!

wow!! so I had ordered a bulk supply from Chewy.com of my elderly kitty's Prescription Diet wet food to treat his hyperthyroidism. My little old man decided he didn't like the wet food anymore as soon as I received the package. So I go to return it, not only do they fully refund me but they also tell me that instead of returning the package to them, I donate the food to a local shelter!

I've never been blown away by any kind of customer service as I have by those at Chewy.com. Their kindness and generosity has made me a customer for life and I have recommended them to everyone I know with a pet!
